Friends in Common (Imperial Agent - Hutta)
Talk to Linh in Nemro's Palace. This is a level 3 Imperial Agent class quest.

Linh: Hello there, handsome. No, no. Don't say anything yet. Play it casual. I'm an old girlfriend and we are getting reacquainted. A mutual friend thinks it's important that you acquire some new skills and weaponry. I've arranged a contact in Jiguuna to get you started. Now pretend we're all caught up and leave. Casually.

You can say:
Catch you later, buddy!

So, you're a  spy?

Play along and choose the first option or the second option.

Friends in Common
You have run into an "old friend" at Nem'ro's Palace who insinuated that your handler, Keeper, wants you better equipped. To accomplish this, she has arranged for you to meet a "new friend" in Jigunna. Travel to Jiguuna and meet with your "new friend" for equipment and training.

Your task is to report to your "new friend".  The new friend is actually the Imperial Agent skills trainer. You might have already visited him before. Exit Nemro's palace and go to the market.  Talk to Lycus Mattle to complete this mission.

Welcome Khem Val (Sith Inquisitor - Korriban)
After gaining a bit of affection, Khem Val indicates that he wants to talk to you in private. Go to the Cantina in the Sith Academy and speak to him:

Khem Val: You should not have brought me here, little Sith. You may have bound my will, but such bonds can be broken, and make no mistake: I will devour you.



You can tell him:
There's better things to eat
I'll enjoy beating you again
Silence, Monster.

Choose the first option for affection gain.

If you choose the second option and tell him that the more challenging the better, he tells you that he looks forward to ripping those words from your delicious throat.

If you choose the third option, you lose a little affection with him
