Grand Theft Auto V Stats Guide: How To Level Up Fast

Grand Theft Auto V Stats Guide: How To Level Up Fast
Each of the characters in Grand Theft Auto V boast their own set of unique skills and abilities. This Grand Theft Auto V Stats Guide: How To Level Up Fast will give you information on each characters stats and abilities as well as tips on how to level them quickly. It is worth noting that although some of the characters share almost identical abilities they still level separately. As such you will need to repeat some activities on regular basis if you hope to achieve max level with all of the skills. Below we’ve highlighted the skills available to each character as well as some general tips and tricks to increase leveling speed.

Grand Theft Auto V Stats Guide: How To Level Up Fast: Michael

Special: Improving Michael’s special will allow him to use it for longer, and do more damage. The more you utilize the specials the more the skill increases. Just activating their specials do nothing, but performing appropriate actions during the specials will increase the skill (I.E. Franklin driving on wrong side of rode and near misses or both while special is activated will increase the skill.)

Stamina: Michael can run, swim and bike better with increased stamina before losing health. The fastest way to level up stamina is doing the triathlon events. Check our Freaks & Strangers mission guide.

Shooting:Upgrading the shooting skill allows players to decrease recoil, improve damage and other bonuses. Shooting generally levels as you progress, as with most of the other skills. However, there are a few missions you can get early on to increase your potential with the shooting skill. The Freaks and Strangers side quests can be a great way to level outside of the main story. Early on the quest Grass Roots unlocks shortly after you get the ability to control Michael. Headshotting the aliens with the mini-gun will get your shooting to 80/100 by itself. Purchasing more reliable guns can also help with the increased accuracy for easier headshots. Check out Grand Theft Auto V weapons list for more information.

Strength: Strength offers a variety of benefits including faster climbing, more damage, more defense and better abilities and sports and other side activities.

Stealth: The stealth ability allows Michael to move faster when in stealth mode and make less noise. This is leveled by performing stealth take downs and using stealth mode. Stealth seems to be quickly leveled by simply following people in stealth mode. I just followed people around the city. Keep in mind, if they are turning their heads to look at you, you’ve been noticed (duh). Something interesting I took recognition of: The more people you stalk at once, the faster you level stealth. I think it may have took me like an hour with Franklin and like 15 minutes with Michael. Didn’t do Trevor. Fell asleep.

Flying: Improving the flying skill will allow Michael take off, land and manage turbulence easier depending on the level of the skill. Complete Flight School challenges and pilot aerial vehicles to improve this skill.

Driving: The driving skill allows Michael to pop wheelies easier and land bigger jumps. This skill generally levels when performing most actions and stunts while using a vehicle

Lung Capacity: Allows Michael to stay under water for longer and swim faster. Level this up by diving and swimming with Michael

Special: Improving Frankin’s special will allow him to use it for longer. This is a very easy ability to level and you should have 100/100 before switching to Michael. When using the ability simply drive on the wrong side of the road and get as close to traffic without colliding.

Stamina: Franklin can run, swim and bike better with increased stamina before losing health. The fastest way to level up stamina is doing the triathlon events. Check our Freaks & Strangers mission guide.

Grand Theft Auto V Stats Guide: How To Level Up Fast: Trevor

Special: Improving Trevors’s special will allow him to use it for longer. Players can level this ability by taking more damage, killing enemies and maintaining high speeds when using vehicles. The more you utilize the specials the more the skill increases. Just activating their specials do nothing, but performing appropriate actions during the specials will increase the skill (I.E. Franklin driving on wrong side of rode and near misses or both while special is activated will increase the skill.)

Flying: Improving the flying skill will allow Trevor take off, land and manage turbulence easier depending on the level of the skill. Complete Flight School challenges and pilot aerial vehicles to improve this skill. Trevor starts with very high flight skill so it’s easy to get 100/100. I grabbed a plane from the airfield during a story and took to the skies for about 10 minutes, job done.

Driving: The driving skill allows Trevor to pop wheelies easier and land bigger jumps. This skill generally levels when performing most actions and stunts while using a vehicle

Lung Capacity: Allows Trevor to stay under water for longer and swim faster. Level this up by diving and swimming with Franklin

I’ll be adding more methods of leveling fast, to accompany the descriptions, as I discover better ways. If you want to make millions on the stock market, complete every Heist with ease, or unlock all the random events; check out our Grand Theft Auto V Walkthrough Guide Collection.
