Journey Walkthrough Part 3 - The Sand Dune Sea

Head down the slope, moving toward the Mountain. Head up to the chest of the next Sand Dune and look down. There you will find a ruin with a Flap of Cloth on it. Slide down to it. Get near the Cloth and let loose a Chirp. This reveals a a Guide of sorts, a cloth bird.

Follow it to reach the next set of ruins. Once there, again, interact with the Flap of Cloth. This lets loose more Guides.

Follow them along the Dunes, slightly to the right. You will find a smaller ruin.

On the backside of it you will find a Gylph Wall. Time for a little detour: Face the Gylph Wall and go the next two dunes.

At the top of the second Dune, turn to the left. Head just over the Dune and follow the base of it to where 3 dunes intersect. Here you will find a Flower sitting by some stones. Let loose a chirp to earn the “Mirage” trophy.

Now make your way back to the Glyph Wall. Follow the Guides more and they will take you to a Ruined Tower. A burst of light will stream into it. Then small segments of cloth will appear in the center of it. Let loose a loud chirp to sail up and collect the Scarf Gylph that is sitting on the wall.

Now out of the ruin to the left. Follow the Guides along this way to arrive at the next set of ruins.

Head over to the ruins on the right. Let loose a chirp by the Flap of Cloth to find another Guide. Now start over to the left. There is a toppled pillar you can stand on with the strips of cloth fluttering around it. Let loose a chirp and use that cloth to reach the walkway on the tower in front of you.

Walk around it to the next gathering of Fluttering Cloth. Let loose another chirp to ascend to the top of the Tower. Collect the Scarf Glyph that is sitting there. Now turn around, find your Guides, and follow them away from the Tower.

Follow them along to find a section of Stone and another Glyph Wall. Let loose a chirp activate it. Now head over to the Flap of Cloth and activate it to release another Guide. Follow the flock out to the left.

Return to the Tower. Now head the other way, toward the Mountain. Head down the large Dune and you will find another large Ruin. Head over to the right and take the Sand up onto the building.

Keep to the Walkway and stop where there is a break in this tower. Wait for one of the Guides and it will carry you up to the next part.

Head around to the Guide that is wedging into a window. Let loose a chirp to free a few of them. Stand there and you will get a lift to the top of the tower by a Guide. Now start off to the left. Cross the walkway and start circling around the next Tower. Stop when you reach the wall for a Guide to come and carry you to the top of the tower. Take the stairs up to reach the Vision Shrine.

Head back down to the grate that let loose a flock of Guides. Approach them and they will carry you away to the next section of Desert.
