After the cutscene Ryu is inside a hanger with a Falcon just in front of him. Use it! Move on forward over or around the barriers. When Ryu's health bar appears again, jump and fire an arrow. This will take out the soldier with the cluster rocket launcher. Time to deal with multiple waves of soldiers, heavy soldiers, Ghosts and a number of them above with rocket launchers or cluster bombs. Keep fighting them until the wall in front of you lowers. Head on through it to re-engage with the enemies.

The first few waves are soldiers of the usual variety: Assassins, Heavies and Soldiers. After them come 4 Alchemists. These are harder to deal with of course. Remember to lead your attacks with a Strong attack to break any guard they have. This will also stun them briefly so it is easier to combo them to death. As soon as the Ultimate Technique or Ninpo is available use it. When it gets down to the last Alchemist, just attack him to trigger a scene. Cut him down and head through the doors for another scene.

Reagent of the Red Mask: Fight 3
The Reagent has some new attacks and they are powerful. Play a more defensive game with counter elements. Ryu can charge and expect to land some hits but he must immediately dodge away to avoid the grab that follows the Reagent's block. If you want to counter the first strike, you must use a Quick Attack else Ryu will take damage.

If you hear the Reagent grunt as he forms a blood-red ball of energy, dodge the ball. This is a new grab attack that is very lethal. He can also summon up Dark energy and blast that at Ryu as well. Remember that if he drops into a low stance to get ready to dodge the moment it shifts even slightly. He has a number of attacks similar to Ryu's so keep that in mind.

This battle only last to the first clash. Beyond that lies another cinematic where a lot gets revealed. When the scene pauses, attack Cliff. It will resume and a purified Dragon Sword is pulled out from Ryu. Canna becomes something much more than human and things set up for the final stage.
