Prototype 2 Walkthrough Part 6 – Salvation, The Mad Scientist

Salvation
Head over to the marked point to get in touch with Father Guerra once again. The good Father is in a bind for helping Heller. This means a mad dash down there to save him.Defeat the initial wave to have some APCs roll up. This time the first order of business is close the gap between Heller and one of them. After that it is time to board it by hitting “B”/ “Circle” then “X”/ “Square” to weaponize. Use the first TOW to quickly destroy both APCs.

With both of those down, Blackwater will send in a few Helicopters. As much as possible, grab the nearby Rocket Launchers (and any remaining TOW rounds) to quickly decimate them. There will a few Soldiers dropped on the ground so be sure to kill them quickly.

After that, more Tanks are rolled in. Be sure to go for the Marked Soldier for a lot of EP. You will earn bonus EP for destroying a vehicle with one of the TOWs that you can rip off the Tank. Once the assault team is dealt with, time to run into the church for a quick scene. At the end of this missing, likely, Heller will evolve again.

The Mad Scientist
Head for the marked point to contact Father Guerra again. Time to track down Dr. Koenig inside his facility. Start going to the Southeast to track it down. Once there, you need to consume the Base Commander and slip into the building nearby. This does mean getting very close to a Viral Radar. Move in on him quickly and consume him to avoid detection for the moment. Dash across the open area to reach the door and avoid the Radars. Use the Hand Scanner to get inside.

Once inside, there is a lot of security to contend with. The bonus here to get through without triggering an Alert. It is possible, largely by avoiding the radar. Still, getting inside quietly is a slightly different story. To get inside, you need to consume the Guard with the Blue Keymarker above his head. Doing this in stealth is tricky as there are plenty of other guards around. Still, head into the Southwestern corner and start working inwards on the guards to make it a lot easier to collect that particular DNA signature.

Once inside, you will come face to face with the Dr Koenig. He points you to a Dr. David Burke. You appear back in the room you were just in. Slip outside and head over to 110, 1370. Heller is headed into the heart of Project Orion. Quickly destroy the 3 communication tower. At that point, the volunteer for Project Orion will appear. He comes at you with a large sweep. Use your shield to bash it away and engage him. Use your shield whenever he comes at you with an overhead swing to create a massive opening to take advantage of.

Once the first part of Project Orion has been defeated, it is time to take down the facility itself. Quickly move around the compound and destroy all the marked generator substations. The problem here comes  after that part is done. With the generators gone, more members of Project Orion will come at Heller. Take them out like you did the first set. You can nail either of them and consume them to get a nice EP boost. At the end of the mission, Heller learns that there is a Soldier who has progressed to Phase 2. Heller calls Koenig to get him to learn more about it.
