Prototype 2 Walkthrough Part 18 – Operation: Stun Circuit, Operation: Clockwork

Operation: Stun Circuit
Head over to the Terminal at 649, 658. Time to do some work to keep Dana Mercer out of harm's way as much as you can.

Cargo Delivery 25-D
 Lt Garrison Pugh, at 597,146. Consume him.

Time for another case of chasing after stuff. It is getting very important that you have maxed out Heller's Speed Evolution and have a fair number of the Locomotion mutations as well. Head over to 554, 662. It is time to start the next batch of retrieval so you better be ready to run very fast. Head on North from the starting point. Most of the 35 packages are along a line to the North. Just start and keep running. Attempt to minimize your gliding and keep to jumping which is a little easier to control. Keep them to a minimal height for this stretch of the run. It is important that you keep alert as there is a lot of fire. Having Hard Boiled and Bulletproof will eliminate all but the most serious damage from incoming missiles.

Suppression 13-C
Sgt Vernon McNabb. Around 704, 517.

Head to the Neighborhood of 643, 493. Time to take out some tanks here. It is better to simply come in and hijack one or to attack them with the Hammerfist. Either way, there are 3 tanks that need to be taken out. Just when it seems like things are going to be simple, the person offering to the split bounty on Dana turned out to be Evolved. Chase him down and he will jump into a Helicopter. If you simply want this over, pull out the Whipfist and let loose two Longshots. It will inflict significant damage onto the Helicopter, if not take it down outright. Once that goes down, it is time to face the Commander Collins who called you on the ground. You are offered the chance at bonus: take down the Commander using only your Claws and Hammerfist. Equip those two powers and have at him. It is not a very hard fight at this point. Enjoy consuming him though.

Operation: Long Horizon

Cargo Delivery 24-K
Lindsay Benhurst. Located around 497,431. This one is caged, do something to draw attention or attack them and it is revealed they are Evolved.

Time to collect some Munitions. This is a collection mission, but very different from all the ones that have been completed so far. You need to take down the helicopter then collect the munitions as they fall within the Time Limit. Thankfully each has its own time limit which makes this more sensible. Still, fun times are ahead. Equip the Whip Fist as 2 hits from it is more than enough to take down a Helicopter.

Helicopter 1 – Approximately 454,403: Point of First Contact
4 Packages are dropping. They are all in close proximity to each other. This makes retrieval a bit easier. Just pay attention to where the markers are.

Helicopter 2 – Approximately 426, 472: Point of First Contact
Take it down fast and all 4 packages will be on top of the same building you encounter it at.

Helicopter 3 – Approximately 593, 440: Starting Point
This Helicopter is taken over by an Evolved pilot. Time to give chase, take it down

Stronghold 9-D
Dr. Lawrence Foster. Around 572, 328. He is one of the Evolved.

He has 3 Brawlers out, ready to defend him and he will also call in 6 Fliers as well to back them up. Focus on the Evolved unless his support is causing a lot of annoyance. Only if they are truly getting the way should you focus on them. Once he has been consumed then you want to head for Base Hotel Two Seven at 515, 435.

When you arrive at the base, everything has just broken loose with a swarm of Infected coming at them. As long as you are not in alert (by revealing yourself) you can just enter the building to move the Operation forward.

Once inside you have a Bonus: Reach the Commander without causing an Alert. Do note that inside this base you can find one of the people needed for Operation: Clockwork. The easiest way to get through to the Commander is to consume your way forward. This will remove a lot of the eyes around the area. Head down the stairs at the far end of the room and get down to the floor below to get at the Dr. Vandiver. Clear as much of the floor as you can and try to consume him in the central area. Once you have him, head for the scanner.

On the other side of the scanner you will find Commander Chapin. Just grab him as he is one of the Evolved so you will have a fight on your hands. It will be an Evolved and a Phase 1 Soldier. After that, just kill whoever you feel like on the way out.

When you emerge from the base you are presented with another bonus: Kill 8 Blackwater Troops that saw you exit the base. This is easy as long as you just stick around a moment and slice into everyone nearby. A few whipfist strikes can do this. Once that is done, exit the Alert to finish the Operation.
