Talk to Guard Neely in the northern checkpoint, near the entrance to the Timeless Woods. He first gives you a free lesson:
"Pay attention to your opponent. If it turns red, it's enraged. Faster and stronger than normal, but also vulnerable to counterattack. They'll collapse more easily, and then you can hammer them."

Hunting the Beasts
Noruks are normally docile enough, but damned if they don't get skittish at the slightest magical twinge. I need you to kill several noruks and deliver samples of their fur to Heller, at Dulari's Camp. Think you can manage? Noruks are a little tougher than Ghilliedhus.
Accept the quest. He wanrs you to watch out for the Noruk's charge attack. It's deadly.
Your task is to hunt the Noruks in the timeless woods and collect their hides. You need to get three Noruk Hides.
The Noruk should be wandering about in the TImeless Woods. They look like giant Deers. They are neutral by default, and will not attack you unless provoked. Kill three of them.
After you have the three Noruk Hides, you need to report to Helier at Dulari's Camp. To reach the Dulari camp, just keep going south on the trail. Talk to Hellier when you locate him:
Guard Helier: Splendid little samples. Nicely done. We're survivors from the first expedition. Dulari thinks we were attacked on purpose, that the beasts in these woods didn't just decide to attack us on a whim. Of course, he needs samples to study and can't be bothered to collect them himself. So arrogant.
Get your quest reward, which is some copper and XP points. This completes the quest, "Hunting the Beasts".
