Sniper Elite V2 Walkthrough Part 17 – Kopenick Launch Site
Find the Trenches
Go for a stealth kill immediately using your pistol, which is hopefully silenced. Head over to the right immediately and go down the alley. If you can get a shot at the next soldier, take it, otherwise just keep moving forward. When you spot the truck to the right, investigate the tail end of it. There you will find a Gold Bar. Be careful as this can alert soldiers to your presence.
If you are having too much trouble moving forward, then start heading over to the left. There are less soldiers in the way and it lines you up better with your destination. Things go a lot smoother along this path by slipping into the church and taking out the few soldiers inside it. Once inside the church, climb up into the bell tower to the right of where you come in. There you can easily snipe the machine gun nest that are scattered around the area. You can keep focused on the machine guns as long as there are soldiers in the area. They do not seem to get that you can pick them off easily.
Once that is dealt with, time to move forward some. Head out of the church to the right through the door there. Take out any soldiers that hop onto the machine gun and then rush for the low hanging tunnel just to the left of the church.
Find the V2 Launch Site
Head through the trenches to the first intersection. Pause there and wait for the nearby soldier to approach: Ambush him. Now head all the way to the North, past where you ambushed the guard. Drop to the crawl and head through the tunnel on your left. There is another soldier there you can stealth kill but also a Gold Bar rests behind him. Now head out to the left, into the next Northern part of the trenches.
With that dealt with, continue to the North and West. You will come across a quiet camp site. Still, take cover against the sand bags. There is a Sniper perched on the Church that you passed through a while back that will be shooting at you. Note the 2 illuminated windows. He is in the left-hand one. In the right-hand one you will find a bottle you can snipe as well. Head across to the marker and start up the hill.
At the top of the hill head into the boxcar that is broken open. Move forward and drop out of the car to the left. Cross over the tracks and climb up onto the platform. Head over to the right toward the next marker.
Eliminate the Launch Supervisor
From where you stand you can easily either sneak in for a Stealth Kill or you can pull out a Silenced Pistol and pop a round into his head.
Defend your position while the rocket fuels
Time for something of a serious challenge. Turn to your right immediately and gun down the soldier that is standing right there. If you need ammo, just look around the room as there are numerous caches for a change. First target is to the right in the lookout: another Sniper. Quickly kill him to avoid his very damaging bullets. The next sniper is just below the fins of the rocket. After that, just focus on the bullet trails to figure out who can actually hit you. Be sure you lay down plenty of mines around wherever you bunker down. You need to keep the fight going until you hear them announce, “Get the rocket into position”. At that point, focus on the rocket in front of you. Along its left-hand side you will note a red wheel that is marked. Take aim and fire at this to finish out this mission.
*If you head to the top of the bunker where you found the Launch Supervisor you can find a Gold bar tucked away in the front-left corner.
