Game of Thones Walkthrough Part 16 – Alester – For All the Days Gone By, Part 2
Objective 4: “There are rumbling of revolt in town. Go to Ryman to assess the damage.”
Head North from your present position to get to Ryman. Just approach the trio of people talking to get information out of Ryman. He will give you a flask, equip it. He wants to see what you will do.Start things off right by heading for the castle gate. There you will find people threatening to burn down the castle if they do not get food soon. You can threaten, tax the nobles or pull from the castle's food. It is your call. With things resolved here, you can head through the gate. Take a moment to do so and head a little to the North. There you will find some rebels holding the guard there. Defeat them and Little Bludgeon will tell you that Tyrek asked them to keep the guards busy there. Now head back into through the Main Gate.
This has 3 quest points. The first of them is just to the South of where you are.
Tutorial: Priest of R'hllor abilities
“Alester is a priest of R'hllor which means he can manipulate fire. Once you have unlocked a R'hllor ability for your character, you can use fire abilities via the heroic abilities bar. The R'hllor ability tree can be accessed through Alester character sheet.”
When you arrive at the marker, there are 4 people here about to be executed. Pot Belly tells they were part of the riot and must be guilty of something. Alester moves to have it stayed so that he might talk with them.
Passing Judgment on the Captives:
Alyn
Talk with him to learn that he was present at the Port Storehouse but he was there to get some food. You can let him go, kill him or throw him in the dungeon. It is your choice
Little Leo
He was found near the body of a dying guard. Talk with Leo about the events and he will swear innocence but dodge the question. Ask the guard about it and he will tell Alester that Leo was carrying an enormous knife. Ask Leo about the knife and reveals that he is a Butcher's apprentice. Talk with the guard one last time to learn the details about the knife. Make your choice then, but it favors letting the man go.
Brusco
Talk with either Reddish, the guard or Brusco, the prisoner to start learning about what is going on. Brusco claims that he was in the Inn, playing a game of cards when guards came in and dragged him off. Reddish explains that Brusco belongs to a gang that offers “protection” to merchants, holding them for ransom. He does not deserve death so it more a choice between letting him go or putting him in the dungeon.
Mellara
She is paired with Pighead, the guard. Talk with Mellara to learn that she set fire to the guard's house after he raped her little sister. The guard admits to that much. You will be presented with a unique option to put them both in jail. This is the recommended course of action.
Making the choices will start to pull the townsfolk on to Alester's Side.
