The moment you arrive at the camp, Juju comes under attack!
Verbally.
A woman in some rather unusual clothes including a bizarrely-cuffed set of thigh-high boots virtually tromps up to the group to yell at Juju for running off on his own, decrying his idiocy and declaring her worry at the same time. Before Shulk or Reyn have a chance to say anything, though, Shulk has a Monado Flash- a brief vision of the woman clinging to something for a moment- then falling into a mass of some kind of almost tentacle-like Mechon, shouting for Juju. Perhaps more disturbing than the thought of Mechon with tentacles is the fact that these ones- each as thick as a person- appear to have giant razor-edged flowers at their ends, and the vision fades just as they snap at her.
Shulk takes a moment to recover from what he’s just been shown as the woman rips Juju up one side and down the other, lambasting him that ‘We’re not ready to leave camp yet.’ She also indicates she suspects him of something, though what it is he’s supposed to be guilty of is unclear. Juju, sheepish, apologizes to the woman with the dark-purple hair, calling her ‘Sharla’.
That bit of verbal abuse done, Sharla looks to Reyn and immediately recognizes his outfit as Defence Force gear (which may be particularly amusing to think about if you’ve outfitted him in, say, swim oil and trunks, or casual Colony 9 clothes). Immediately she decides he and Shulk must be survivors (of what, the question asks itself) and insists that the two tell her how Colony 6 is alright, and that someone by the name of Gadolt ‘made it’. She latches onto Reyn as she insists this, causing the redhead both startlement and consternation.
Just as Sharla’s really gotten going on her insistences, Reyn tells her to hold on, because what is this he doesn’t even. Seeing that Reyn’s brought the purple-haired woman to a halt, Shulk interjects that he and Reyn have actually come from Colony 9 (and thus have no way of knowing about Colony 6).
Sharla seems startled by this, and backs off briefly. As she’s taking this in, Juju shares Shulk and Reyn’s names with her, at which point she resolves to feel disappointed that the two aren’t from Colony 6. She thanks the erstwhile heroes for saving her brother- which is to say, Juju. Juju mentions that he offered the two a place to rest in the camp, which catches Sharla a bit off balance and leaves her a bit put off, but she consents after a few moments.
Reyn, still thinking about what happened earlier in the conversation, asks Sharla what happened in Colony 6, Shulk piping up to say that that’s where the two are headed. Sharly replies with the ‘short version’- colony 6 is currently occupied by Mechon- and promises to tell the two more inside the camp.
