Game of Thrones Walkthrough Part 89 – Mors – New Blood

This quest takes place the course of much of the game. Mors is sent by Lord Commader Mormont under the guise of collecting men for the Night's Watch to protect Jeyne. Still, Mors can take this seriously and earn plenty of Silver for completing this long side quest. It is available from Chapter 7 to Chapter 13. It is easiest to complete different segments at different time. Mole's Town can be done immediately while King's Landing is not available until Mors and Alester return to Riverspring in Chapter 11, “Breaking Point.” All the Riverspring recruits cannot be had until Chapter 13, after the Battle for Riverspring.

Mole's Town – 2 Potential Recruits
Inside Mole's Town, when you arrive there during “Stray Dog” and after, you can recruit 2 people.

Andar
Just to the right of the Bar you will find Andar. Talk with him and comment on how he looks familiar. Mors will have the choice to force him to return to the Wall and accept his punishment or to just kill him then and there. That choice is yours, but it is better to have him return to the Wall.

Guilan
Just inside the proper entrance to Mole's Town, you will find Willow who complains about having gotten stuck with the freeloader Guilan. Talk with her and she will gladly point out where you can find him and that she wants him gone. Head down into the lower level of Mole's Town. Once there, head East, turn left at the first tunnel then right at the intersection and go through the first door on your right. You will find Guilan inside. Talk to him about how the men of the Night's Watch will appreciate his singing to get him to join.

Riverspring – 6 Possible, 5 Potential Recruits
These men can only be recruited during Chapter 13, “Bounds”, after Alester has retaken Riverspring from Valarr. Head to the Front Gate of Riverspring and speak with Jon there. He will tell you that many in Riverspring will join the Night's Watch now because of the circumstances of Riverspring's recent battles. After that conversion, the possible recruits will appear on the map.

Donner
He is in the Market Square, just to the North of the Front Gate. Approach and talk with him. He will join the Night's Watch only if Mors can best in him a duel. Donner is an Elite Boss in Light Armor. You only need to bring him down by a quarter of his health. Once that is done, he will respect Mors and join the Night's Watch.

Villager
Head to the Northwest from the Market Square. You will find a villager who is swamped in debt. Just behind him you will find a Seal of Knowledge and a Westeros Archive. This Archive adds the codex entry, “Blackwater Rush.” Mors will push for the man to come to the Wall but Alester will intervene and insist that they get the men to leave this villager alone.

To find the Brigands, head to the South of the man that you were just talking to. They are beating on another villager there. There are 4 in the group: 2 in Light Armor, 1 in No Armor and 1 Boss in Medium Armor. Defeat them and the man they were beating on wioll beg for his life. Mors can either kill him or recruit him for the Night's Watch.

After that, Mors and Alester return to the man who borrowed the money. If you choose Mors' path, he will recruit the man while Alester will let him go.

Female Villager
Head over to just above the entrance to Riverspring Castle (to the Southwest of where you were with the Villager. You will find a Female Villager who is looking for more excitement in life. She will beg Mors for the chance to head to the Wall. Just talk with her and she will make it clear that she is more than brave enough. Still, Mormont will not be happy with it and will deny her membership for her own protection. It is better to just skip on her honestly.

Waltyr
Head South from the Female Villager to the Waterwheel. There you will find Waltyr who has lost everything in the Battle of Riverspring. He is an ideal recruit for the Night's Watch. Let Mors do the talking to get him to join up.

Riverspring Dungeons
Head on down there after your recruitment drive has finished off those available in the town.

Quenten
In the Southern Cell you will find Quenten. Talk to him with Mors and choose “He seems tough enough.” He will laugh and say he will follow Mors to the Wall.

Zachery
He is in the Eastern Cell. Talk with him and choose the volunteer option. He will go to the Wall without any fuss at all.

King's Landing – 6 Potential Recruits
The Final recruitment ground. Talk with Morros who is just across from the entrance of King's Landing. He will tell you that there are recruits to be found in the dungeons of King's Landing and in Flea Bottom.

Jarl and Monterys
Head toward the far Eastern portion of town along the Southern edge. You will find Theormar standing next to 2 men. There is a small mob present calling for punishment on the 2 men. Talk with him to learn they have tortured and murdered several people. On the second choice, if you want the men, tell them “The Wall isn't overly particular.” Next, have Alester talk about hard life is at the Wall. The goal here is to convince the Mob that life on the Wall is a fate worse than death. Do this and you will walk away with 2 more recruits. Most other paths lead to a massive fight against the Mob. If the pair survive, then they can become recruits for the Night's Watch.

The Red Keep Dungeons
Head to the Southwest from where you found Jarl and Monterys. Inside the entrance to the Red Keep, on the Western side, you will find a Guard. Talk with him and he will lead you down into the Dungeons of the Red Keep.

Once inside the dungeons to the Red Keep, head over to the East. There you will find a Goldcloak to talk to. He offers the 4 prisoners there for 50 silver. If Mors threatens him once, he will drop the price to 20 Silver making a much better deal. After that, head back into the chamber you started in and talk with the Guard who led you down here. He will take you back to the streets of King's Landing.

With them all collected, return to Castle Black. Talk with Mors a few times and he will give his impressions from the men you have recruited. Take some time and just wait for all the experience that comes from the recruitment you have done. If you got 10 or more Recruits, then you will earn the achievement, “Endless Watch.”
