Dragon Age Origins Walkthrough Part 51 – The Deep Roads Sidequests
The Crosscut Drifters
This sidequest is found in Coridin's Crossing there are 4 Codex Entries that need to be gathered to make the Drifter's Cache appear.
Entry 1 – Found by the Western exit to the Deep Roads.
Entry 2 – Found in the very center of Coridin's Crossing in the middle of the T-Intersection the Darkspawn have staked out.
Entry 3 – Found in the Southeastern portion of the Coridin's Crossing. It is in the far eastern room in this area.
Entry 4 – Found in the caves in the Southern portion. It is in the Northwestern portion of those caves where you find the Orge and Genlocks.
The Admirable Topsider
This is a collection quest. It starts with whatever you collect 1 of the 3 pieces. Only the Pommel and and the Hilt can be found to start this quest, the same can be applied to the Grave.
Topsider's Pommel – Found inside a vase inside Rock's Cave in the Northern part of the Ortan Thaig.
Topsider's Hilt – Drop from a Genlock Emmisarry in the Southern Cave Corridor of the Caridin's Crossing
Topsider's Blade – The Dead Trenches: In the Southern Central Area: West of the location of the Forge-Master Darkspawn, you will encounter the Ancient Darkspawn. You will find the Blade on his corpse.
Topsider's Grave – Ortan Thaig: To the East of the Entrance from Caridin's Crossing. Return here once you have all 3 pieces of the Blade.
Asunder
This quest is spread across 3 different areas in the Deep Roads, much like “The Admirable Topsider”. The Aeducan Thaig is an optional area opened up early via support of Prince Bhelen, “A Prince's Favor: The First Task”. By collecting any of the 3 bags of body parts from the areas you will begin the side quest. All of these are found in a container called “Small Bloody Bag”.
Aeducan Thiag
Bag of Limbs – The bag is found in the room where you find Lord Dace, the room with all the Deep Stalkers. Large room in the West.
Coridin's Crossing
Head in a Bag – This is found the Northeastern room in the Eastern portion.
Torso in a Bag – Found in the Far Eastern Room, in the Southern Portion of Coridin's Crossing.
Ortan Thaig
Altar – In the massive room below Ruck's Cave. You will find a small area to the Southwest of the Bridge leading on. It is at the base of the Southern Bridge in the area. Head over to the East from that bridge to find the Altar guarded by 6 spirits and a Stone Golem. Approach the altar after the fighting and you can place the body parts on the altar. You can either choose to take Vengeance on the Demon or claim a reward (25 Gold, 50 Silver)
The Golem Registry
Found in the Anvil of the Void chamber. After you have taken on the boss you can find a large statue to the right of the exit to the chamber. There you will find a very large statue. Take a copy of the names there. Bring this to the Shaperate in the Diamond District.
