We get it. Fighting games can be one tough cookie to crack, especially those developed by Japanese fighting fanatics Arc System Works. With Persona 4 Arena, the developer has taken a few steps to minimize confusion when dipping one's feet into this new release, but for fighting newbies or those who are only picking up the game to fuel their Persona fandom, it can still be a daunting task to overcome all of the systems at work in P4A. (The commands listed here assume that the character is facing towards the right. The commands will be reversed when the character is facing to the left.)

• Furious Action: 5th Gen Axe Slash: Simply hit the X or A button plus the O or B button
  
• Skill: (1) Chain Knuckle: Hit upwards and to the right on the D-Pad and hit the Square or X button, or the X or A button
  
• Skill: (2) Winch Dash: During the Chain Knuckle move, hit to the right on the D-Pad
• Skill: Brake: During the Winch Dash, hit to the left on the D-Pad
• Skill: Extra Attack: During the Winch Dash move, hit the Square or the X button, or alternately, hit the X or the A button
• Skill: Guillotine Axe: Hit upwards and to the left on the D-Pad plus the Square or the X button. Alternately, hit the X or the A button during the attack
• Skill: Guillotine Aerial: While in the air, hit upwards and to the left plus the Square or the X button. Alternately, you can hit the X or the A button to pull off this attack
• Skill: Weaver's Art: Sword: Hit down on the D-Pad twice in quick succession plus any of the four face buttons
  
• SP Skill: Weaver's Art: Beast: Quickly tap upwards to the right on the D-Pad twice in succession, plus Triangle or Y. Alternately, you can double tap upwards to the right on the D-Pad and hit the O or B button to get the same result
• Awakened SP Skill: Weaver's Art: Breaking Wheel: Quickly tap upwards to the left on the D-Pad twice in succession, plus Triangle or Y. Alternately, you can double tap upwards to the left on the D-Pad and hit the O or B button to get the same result
