Sleeping Dogs Walkthrough: Photograph Amanda

When you have some free time and you want to pursue some more... recreational activities, you can pursue dating activities with Amanda at any time by picking up your cell phone. For the purposes of our walkthrough, let's say it's about time to check back in with her. We do need a break from all of that action, after all.

Pick up your cell phone by hitting up on the D-Pad and select the Contacts menu from the phone's menu. Once in the Contacts section, select Amanda and give her a call. Wei will ask her to meet up, and she will agree. She will invite you to meet up at Magistrate Park. Wei will accept the offer, and you will agree to head out on a leisurely date. Head into your minimap and look for the pink waypoint marker, which will be labeled "Photograph Amanda." Holla!

Activate the waypoint and hop into the nearest vehicle. A pink line will guide you to Amanda at Magistrate Park. Follow your waypoint to the park and hop out to meet up with Amanda for your date. A cutscene will trigger in which the two of you meet up. Amanda will be frustrated at the closure of the park, which is only open on the weekend. Amanda will tell you that she wants pictures for her online blog. You will now jump back into the gameplay, where you will be walking with an arm around Amanda. Walk in front of the fountain and she will ask you to take a picture of her doing some sort of bizarre pose in front of the fountain. Hit up to bring out your camera and use the left trigger to zoom before using the right trigger to snap the picture.

You will now be back to walking arm in arm with Amanda, who will tell you that a guy bought her the nice white dress she is now wearing. Wei will ask about the guy, and Amanda will tell him that he's a cocky jerk, but kind of cute too. She will then reveal that she hopes he likes her. At this point, you will reach a guard at the park's gates. Wei will bribe him to let the two of you in. Amanda will now lead you to another spot where she wants you to photograph her. Use the triggers to snap a picture of her in front of the gates, at which point she will book it off to the next photo location. Follow her down the stairs and snap another pic of her out by the city skyline. Follow her again down the length of the fence and take another picture of her by the skyline.

This will trigger another cutscene, in which Amanda will thank Wei for the date before asking if it was, like, a date. Through the course of the conversation, you will agree that yes, in fact, it was a date, and Wei will even steal a little kiss. It looks like you've gotten off to a great start when it comes to dating Amanda. Dating her will also increase your Face meter, meaning that you will have more influence about town.
