Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron Walkthrough Part 3: Defend The Ark Part 2

Enter the Autobot stronghold to find Perceptor hard at work ahead. Hit the X button to speak with him. He will ask you to meet him at the command terminal upstairs. As you walk up the stairs, the base will begin to explode around you, but don't worry; you are safe here for the moment. As you make your way about the top area of the base, you may notice a few drop pod looking devices that glow and prompt you to hit X when you approach them. Doing so will cost you 225 energon, but it can be worth it; these pods contain extra weapons and ordinance that you may not be able to find elsewhere. If you ever tire of your current loadout, note that you can almost always find a few of these pods nearby to loot for extra items, especially later on in the game when you have more cash. For now, either decide to take the risk and open the pod or decide to keep your current loadout if you are happy with it.

When you are ready, speak with Perceptor in the center of the area. The power will go out, and Perceptor will ask you to find another power node. Head downstairs to the electrified doorway where you will see an Autobot get blown up by the current of electricity. Dash through the doorway when the coast is clear, pick up the power node, and dash back out to return it to Perceptor. Hit X to toss the power node into the machine and power up the base again. Perceptor will tell you that he has located some ancient weapons that are located deep in the base, and are capable of fending off the Decepticons. Unfortunately, it'll take most of the Energon you have left. Still, there's no other choice. Grab the Gravity Bomb from the table by the door and prepare for an attack. As soon as the enemies finish powering through the door, hit left on the D-Pad to toss the Gravity Bomb through the door and kill all of the enemies in one powerful, awesome blow. Optimus will order the Autobots to seal the door behind him. Proceed through the door and towards your waypoint.

You can loot new guns and ammo from the nearby Autobot corpses, and you can visit the store on the left to buy weapons, perks, and other consumables, such as the Gravity Bomb that you just acquired. Those never cease to come in handy. If you're feeling more like upgrading, you can always increase the power and other stats of your firearms, too. Just make sure that you use the store io its fullest before you head out to fight the Decepticons. Follow the path to your waypoint, grabbing the Energon Cube from the walkway if you need it as you leave. When you reach the waypoint, you will find yourself outside battling the Decepticons once more. Climb the stairs to the left, where you will be able to take up a high vantage point. Shoot the explosives below you to send the battlefield below up in flames, killing the vast majority of the Decepticons with ease. When there are no more barrels left, zoom in to mop up the rest of the Decepticons from your high position before heading back down to the lower level.
