Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron Walkthrough Part 4: Defend The Ark Part 3

After your battle in the courtyard, you may find yourself cleared out on health and ammo. Luckily, the battlefield will be scattered with ammo and health pickups just in case. Head down the ramp from the upper part of the level to find ammo for your primary weapon. You can find a Scatter Blaster and more primary ammo by a column to the back left side of the battlefield. More ammo still can be found on the raised platform behind you, which you can reach by heading to the right and looping around behind the main battlefield. As you push forward, you can find more ammo for your primary weapon by the two columns that jut out from the center of the arena almost like a goalpost. As you near this area, if you haven't cleared everyone out just yet (you will know because the battle music will still be playing) a group of enemies with rockets will emerge from the upper platform ahead of you. You can loop around the platform to the right to find a health restoring Energon Cube in a glass case. Smash the case and grab the health if you need it, and proceed to the top floor to eliminate any remaining rocket soldiers.

Proceed through the door to the right, towards your waypoint. More enemies will be located in this room below you. Look down upon the battlefield and shoot the other two enemies before jumping down to the left and activating the store. Buy what you need to buy and upgrade what you need to upgrade before you move on. At this early point in the game, you will have to make careful decisions about how you want to spend your points.

When you are ready, leave the store and head to the glowing blue shaft of light. This will propel you up to the next level, where you can jump dash across the chasm ahead and pick up an audio log from the corner. Listen to it wisely, as it will warn you of the enemies to come. Round the corner and head outside. You will be ambushed by a new type of Decepticon. As it crushes your allies, fire upon its back from your prone position to destroy it. The back, as the audio log says, is the weak part of these vicious enemies. Jump down to the lower floor and another will rush out to greet you. Wait until the enemy dashes or jumps towards you, and then dash quickly to the side. As the enemy recovers, fire upon its back. Try to lure it into dashing near an exploding barrel for an extra oomph.

When you are ready to proceed, head to the right side of the arena and pick up one of the glowing molecular fuel cells from the table. Take it over to the console on the back right hand column and insert it to activate another energy shaft. Ride the shaft up to the top and head to the right to find three more creates filled with cash. Break them, head to the left, and pick up the Scatter Blaster from the rubble if you want a shotgun. Proceed over the ramp and two more of the charging enemies will land on the ramp to challenge you. Drop down to the lower level, where there is more room to maneuver. Keep a careful eye on both of the enemies as they charge you; if either of them hit, it'll deal massive damage. Focus on one enemy at a time, and grab ammo from the back corners of the arena if you ever need it. Don't try to engage the enemies in melee, as their sharp claws will make mincemeat of you. Simply focus on dodging and attacking the enemy's backs when they are exposed. Again, if you can get them to land near any exploding barrels, all the better. You will need to stay agile in order to win this segment, but it's totally possible as long as you keep both of the enemies in your line of sight and don't let up with your gunfire.

When the battle is over, refill on any ammo you might need from the various ammo caches scattered about the floor, and head back up the ramp to the narrow walkway where you were ambushed. This will lead you to your next waypoint and your next objective.
