Pokemon Conquest, Conquest Seven (Terrera): Dirty Business (5/9)

When you complete the fight victoriously, Yukimura compliments you with a ‘well done’, and tells you that he is duly impressed by your ability to work with your Pokemon.  He then makes a declaration of conviction, saying he must try to match the standard you have set for him.  Then, with a farewell, he and the Terreran army are gone.

With the return to peace (for now), Oichi comments on the presence of such warriors in your kingdom.  She starts to congratulate you on saving the day (and the fortress) when she interrupts herself to gasp at you.  You are also startled as you are enveloped in light and.... evolve?!?!?

Thankfully, you haven’t changed much, though your clothes become considerably more fancy (and slightly more armorlike, though that’s partly a matter of opinion.  Do extra metal wings on your head count as a better helmet?).  Jubilant over your improvement, you revel in the increase in power this has brought you.  Oichi stands in shock, though, stammering about the transformation you’ve gone through.

After a few moments, she gathers herself enough to ask if this is something called ‘Warrior Transformation’.  She explains that she once heard about something that can happen to Warriors- just how Pokemon evolve, Warriors can transform as well.  Whatever this transformation is, though, it is apparently very rare, as Oichi claiims she has only heard of it happening a few times in the entirety of Ransei’s history.  Supposedly Warriors who have transformed in such a way become considerably more powerful.  She then cheers about your change, suggesting that this may have given you enough power to take on Shingen and Kenshin.

This brings you to a save point, and then the ending of the month is yours to do as you will.  While it’s quite possible you won’t be needing any further training to increase your Link ratings, you can use the opportunity to plan any held-item changes, decide if you need to swap one Warrior out for another or have a Warrior change Pokemon.

Once you’re fully prepared, it’s time to gather your forces once again and head out to Terrera.
