Bioshock Infinite Weapons & Upgrades: Skyhook, Broadsider Pistol, Triple R Machine Gun, China Broom Shotgun

Skyhook
Minimum Damage: 191
Maximum Damage: 259

This is one of your most basic melee weapons. Against the weakest of foes it will allow you to instantly finish them. Once they start getting tougher you will need to hit them a few times to see the skull icon indicating that they can be killing with a deathblow. This is done by holding down the skyhook button. For your basic attack just tap the skyhook button. Remember that it takes a moment to recover from swinging the skyhook so avoid it in close quarter mob situations.

Broadsider Pistol
Minimum Damage: 85    Upgrades:
Maximum Damage: 115     Damage Boost 1: $199: +25% Damage (Hall Of Heroes)
Critical Multiplier: 3.5         Damage Boost 2: $199: +25% Damage (The Factory)
RPM: 400                         Ammo Increase: $404: Increase Reserve to 162 (Finkton Docks)
Magazine Capacity: 12       Clip Increase: $275: Increase Clip to 18 (Battleship Bay)
Reserve: 108

This is the first firearm that you get in Colbumia. You get it just after they start thinking of you as the False Shepherd. It has a very high rate of fire, though it does not do as much damage as many would like. The power of this one lies in its frequent critical hits and very quick reload speed. Fan it when you need to kill something quickly and have a good line up to hit something in the head.

Triple R Machine Gun
Minimum Damage: 72    Upgrades:
Maximum Damage: 88      Damage Boost 1: $236: +25% Damage (Welcome Center)
Critical Multiplier: 1.5        Damage Boost 2: $236: +25% Damage (The Factory)
RPM: 600                        Ammo Increase: $512: -75% Spread (Hall of Heroes)
Magazine Capacity: 53      Clip Increase: $391: Increase Clip to 70 (Finkton Docks)
Reserve: 105

This is your first automatic weapon: The Rolston Reciprocating Rifle. You get it not too long after you get through the Raffle Square on your return. It is a major ammo eater but its ammo is thankfully plentiful. You will need to reload it often because of its very high rate of fire. The reserve for this weapon allows for only 3 reloads. Still, it is great for larger groups. All you need to do is aim for the center of their bodies and unload on them. Most will drop quickly enough.

China Broom Shotgun
Minimum Damage: 765     Upgrades:
Maximum Damage: 1035    Damage Boost 1: $255: +25% Damage (Finkton Docks)
Critical Multiplier: 1.5          Damage Boost 2: $255: +25% Damage (Emporia)
RPM: 45                            Reload Increase: $456: +50% Reload (Finkton Docks)
Magazine Capacity: 4          Spread Increase: $360: +20% Spread (Downtown Emporia)
Reserve: 20

This is one of the best secondary weapons, especially in close quarters combat. Like every shotgun, its damage drops over distance as the pellets spread. Done right this gun take out one or two soldiers at once. You can also interrupt the full reload as soon as Booker has gotten a shell in to fire. In combat you have no reason to full reload. Just load a shell then fire. Get the Reload boost as soon as you can to unleash a terrifying weapon at close range.
