Dead Island: Riptide Walkthrough Part 2 – Sea Of Fog (Mesa Hall to Landing Pad)

Inside the Mesa Hall you will find a number more Walkers and quite a few Energy Drinks for some quick healing. Take some time to search the room and find all the corpses. Remember, experience is precious so hit every body you come across, especially if you did not kill the corpse yourself. Head toward the back of Mesa Hall, behind the oven, to find a lootable chest. Grab whatever is inside it then head on back out through Mesa Hall and make your way to the hallway. Turn to the right and press on.

Head through the next door. You will encounter a new enemy type: The Infected. These are fast moving and like to use a combo attack. Take them out quickly and you will be safe. If given the chance they can do notable damage to you. Quickly take out the pair that appears to chase after you.

When you are done with the Infected head through the corridor slowly. You have 3 rooms on the right that you can search for weapons and modification parts. Grab whatever you can and equip whatever has the better stats. Be careful going into the third room on the right as there is a Walker in there. Kill him then head in and search for whatever can be found there. Continue down the corridor and into the next room. Go over to the right and you will find another Work Bench. This time you can modify weapons and repair some of them. There might be one or two that need it at this point.

With the weapons repaired head intot he next room. You will see it is somewhat flooded and you have a number of Walkers in there. Kill them each in turn, throwing weapons at them then finishing them off with your melee choices. Search around the room and loot the bodies then head for the door opposite the one you came in.

Open the door and head on through carefully. There are more Walkers to be dealt with in this room.Deal with them and head for the opposite door. Interact with it to find 2 more Walkers blocking your way to the ladder that will get you topside. Kill them and then take the ladder on upwards to learn more of what is going on. You have made it up to the deck.

Now that you are outside take a little time to search the area immediately in front of you. You will find many useful things. This happens to include a pistol and a shotgun and a lot of ammo. Take your time to loot everything.

When you have loaded up on ammo head toward the bow of the ship and around it to the right. Start toward the stern of the boat. You will find 3 Walkers feasting on a few bodies. Kill them with whatever weapons you want to use. Start down along the left-hand side path toward the back of the boat. You will find yourself being rushed by a pair of Infected. Kill them quickly and press on.

As you get to the end of the walkway you will find more stairs. Head on down them. To the right you will see a Walker rise up. Take it down and start back toward the walkway or start toward the stern if you are a melee character. You are being rushed by 4 Infected at this point. Kill them and move forward until you can see the water through the railing. Turn to the right and head through the opening in the crates which you will need to duck through. Turn to the right and climb up the crates to make it to the top of them.

Now you have a choice. You can gun down the zombies below you or with a hardier character just jump into the fray. There are 4 Walkers here so take them out however you can. After the zombies are back on the ground, for good, head for the ladder and take it up to the rooftop. The scene will look somewhat familiar. Serpo will be taking off and leaving the rest of the people there.
