Dead Island: Riptide Walkthrough Part 3 – Sea Of Fog (Landing Pad to The Bridge)

The Survivor has caught up with the military men on deck. They are hunking down as best they can but things still do not look good. Their captain is dead and it is time to deal with more of the undead.

This is the first wave of Zombies that you deal with where you have plenty of bullets and fire power. Immediately find and shoot down 1 of the 2 new types of Zombie you are dealing with: The Suicider. You can identify it by the bulbous growths that cover most of its torso. If you can kill it at the right time then it can also take out a number of other zombies as well. Do what you can to gun thme all down. You will find the Walkers are joined by a few Infected and a Thug. The Thug is like a very big and tough Walker. Gun it down and you will be fine. When the fight is over start for the bridge.

Head over to the left and run for the bow of the ship again. You will find Sam Hardy waiting for you by the door into the bridge. Try the door it will reveal itself to be jammed. Turn around and head down the nearby stairs. You will fidn a ladder just a little ways to the left. Take it on up and be careful.

At the top of the ladder you will be attacked by a pair of Walkers. Kill them and turn to the left. You will find the entrance to the bridge just ahead. Quickly open the door and start shooting. You will find yourself facing another Walker. With it dead again head for the opening you see in front of you. There are only a few zombies immediately below you so gun down who you can.

When you have shot everything you can from above drop down to the floor below. Yo uwill encounter a Frenzied Captain. You need to take him down very quickly to avoid the worst of what he can do. Still, this is a great time to use your Fury for the damage boost. It will ensure it is a quick fight.

Sam Hardy will be pounding on the door. Take some time to search the bodies and grab whatever loot you can. Things are going to go hard South as soon as you open the door for him. Grab what you can then open the door. This will trigger the final cutscene of the prologue and the ship goes crashing into the rocks.
