Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon Walkthrough – Sidequests Part 1: Predator's Path
Tiger's Fist (Garrison X: 540.9, Y:499.6)
Head to the east from the Garrison to find the gearing up point. You will find the Bow waiting for Rex. Switch out a weapon for the bow and then it is time to start hunting the tiger. Approach the search area and then turn on the Cyber-eye. Take some time to search the area and find the various tigers. They are, by default, Black and White. Head up the slope just over to the left. Rex will shortly find the Rare Blue Tiger he is looking for. Snipe it in the head and then get a few more quick arrows into it to finish it off. Loot the body for credits if you want, but otherwise, you are done.
Insurance Scammer (Garrison X:606.2 , Y:497.6)
Head to the South of the Garrison. You will find the gear up point without too much trouble. Your weapon for the mission is the A.J.M. 9. Continue South just a bit farther, up the hill. Look down the other side and you will find the troop you are looking for. It has 5 Cyber-Soldiers, 1 Heavy, a Sniper and the Target. The Sniper patrols the hillside where Rex is. It pays to kill him first. After that, you can easily work on picking off the rest of the group without too much trouble. Cover is light on the hillside but only the Heavy will generally advance on that position properly. Just remember to kill the Elite Soldier with the A.J.M. 9 you will complete the mission.
Hunt The Sniper(Garrison X: 480.8, Y:529.2)
Time for Rex to go hunt down a Sniper. Head to the South of the Garrison and make for the nearby mountainside. Take the path on upwards toward the top. You will find the gear up close to the top. Your weapon for this mission: Fazertron.
Head over to the West from where you geared up. This is a case where dashing there is a very good idea as the whole structure in front of you seems to be covered in Snipers. There are a total of 8 Snipers covering the area. 1 sits right at the only entrance into the compound. Another Snipers looks over the Western wall while a third patrols the Eastern portion of the compound wit the fourth looking out over the Western Wall. There are 3 on the tower overlooking the whole place . Your target sits in the middle of the fortress inside the tower at its base.
You can either try to pick of the numerous snipers from the outskirts of their little fort or head over to the East of the fort. Sneak over to the Eastern edge and you will find a portion you can hop without any difficulty. From there it is little trouble to sneak into the middle of the fortress and kill the Leader. After that just go to town on the rest of the Snipers however you want.
