Metro: Last Light Walkthrough Part 7 – Facility, Part 2

Head over to the left first after you get into the vent to find some ammo and other supplies. After that head over to the right. Turn off your flashlight as you get close to the exit of the vent. There are 3 guards below who will notice it if you exit the vent with the light on. Head down the stairs. You can see 2 soldiers playing cards with a third one watching. You can engage them as there is plenty of cover but you can also head into the water that is just underneath the stairs you took down.

If you head into the water be sure to go over to the left at the first chance. You will spot a teddy bear. This has some ammo sitting on it. After that go forward from the teddy bear and head to the left. You will find another guard standing in the water. Just kill him quickly then head back up out of the water by the new path available to the right as you turn around.

Climb on up and you will find Artyom in a different part of the room. There is one guard patrolling and another taking a knee farther up. Wait for the patrolling guard to head over to the left and stop by the lantern. Kill him there then head back to the main room and go over to the left. You will want to keep against the left-hand wall and continue forward. Look for an opening in the floor with some barrels. This is your easy ticket to get to the far end of the room. First though head forward and go over to the right. You will find another container there with some Military Grade Ammo inside it. Now head over to the left and to the passage with the ladder. This will lead you right to one of the fuse boxes that you want to turn off. Look over to the right and you will see a patrolling guard. With wait for him to pass, and kill him, or just let him go, kill the lights then kill him when he comes to investigate. Kill him then it is time to go investigate a little more of this area.

Head forward from the fuse box and over to the right. Take the stairs to your right upward. Wait a moment about the middle and watch to see where the patrolling guard is. Wherever you see him go, follow behind him and take him out. With him dead go into the room to the left from the stairs. Look on the desk to find a note. Now go over to the right and find the lever with the red light by it. Interact with it to open up the doorway in front of you. Artyom can go through there.

Go through the door and pass through the hole in the railing. Head through the small tunnel but hug the left-hand side. You will find a gas can with a rope attached. Cut the rope when prompted to disable this trap. Head on up the ladder on the right and then go over to the left. Head on through the tunnel and Artyom will find where they are keeping Pavel. He gets there just as they are kicking the block out from under him. Quickly kill the 2 guards then get over to Pavel to free him. With Pavel in tow it is time to get out of this part of the station. Just head forward toward the barrier. This will get them out of the Reich controlled station and moving onto the next part.
