Borderlands 2 Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt Walkthrough Part 9 – The Fall of Nakayama: Jackenstein (Part 4)
Jackenstein is a massive Bullymong that has been modified by Nakayama. This is not cake walk and you will be wanting to find all the cover you can for this brawl. First, this creation has impenetrable skin. Every projectile, with the obvious exception of grenades and other explosive bursts, will bounce back at the shooter and do a massive amount of damage. He can also activate a shield using the capacitors that sit on its back. When it does this it will likely bound up onto one of the edges of the arena. This will call in a few Loaders for you to kill off quickly. Until the Loaders are dead it will stay up there. This shield acts just like its skin so be wary of it. Attack-wise Jackenstein has a few things that you need to worry about. It has some devastating melee attacks, heavy energy blast and it can throw things. This is the main reason you will want to keep track of where the cover is. After you have destroyed the capacitors on its back the weak point will shift to a small aperture in the middle of its chest. The problem here is that it will also use this aperture to fire a powerful energy blast. Be sure to be moving away from it when you see it rearing up. It will also adopt a slow charge attack where it will cover its chest with its arms and advance on you.
Defeating Jackenstein calls for some precise aiming at times. You do not want any slow moving bullets for this battle (unless you are exceptionally good at leading your shots) as they are too likely to miss. If Jackenstein backs into a corner then go nuts. Otherwise try to strafe it and fire on the capacitors on its back. When you take out either of the capacitors it will activate a shield and jump up onto the edge of the arena. This will call in a number of Loaders for you to fight. Switch to a Corrosive-type weapon and take them out.
When you have taken out the Capacitors the shots get harder. You will need to aim for the glowing hole in its chest. It will likely be unleashing a high power laser blast from the hole. Use this time to unload on it with some precision weapons or just something with tight grouping. Remember to fall off some when you see its charging you. It does not take too long after that to finish off Jackenstein and be free to pursue Nakayama.
When the battle is over head to the Northern end of the area where the search area is. Step onto the platform and it will trigger the final cutscene of the story line. Nakayama, you poor, poor man. Any rate, head on up the stairs and into the ship again. This leads right to Nakayama's laboratory. Take your time in the first room to stock up on ammo and money. Head into the room with the Constructor and start looting. If you need to, use the One-Way Fast Travel Station to go back to the Vending Machines to clear out inventory and then keep on cycling back until you have grabbed everything you can.
