The Last Of Us Walkthrough Part 15 – Chapter 3: The Outside (Museum)

After you cross through from the receiving bay check the desk to the left for ammo and supplies. Once you have done that go across the room to the next door and open it up. Check the desk across from the door to find some supplies or the one to the right of it. After checking them go to the other door and open it to move on forward.

Go straight forward through the door and over to the rubble on the right. Look around there to find more Crafting Items. Now go over to the left and around the rubble then to the right. Find the place where the floor above has collapsed. Climb on up it to get to the next floor. Immediately at the top of it sidle along to the left-hand ledge to get at the display case by the window. Look inside it to find a Firefly Pendant. Grab it then head across to the right and through the hallway beyond it. Start down the hallway to the left after that.

Go into the room across from where the floor collapsed. Head over to the right and search the display case to find some Crafting Items. With those in head duck into the hole to the left of the display case and move to the end of it. You will find a beam blocking Joel's way. Interact with it and he will hold it up long enough for the Girls to get through but before he can cross through it will collapse. It apparently also made enough noise to draw in the nearby Infected. Head over to the right and through the rest of the passage beyond it.

At the start of the hallway go to the left and look for a cafe on the left. This is where the girls were when they got separated from Joel. Search it to find more Crafting Items and a few bottles or bricks. Grab what you can from here then head toward the double-doors. Stop at them and look to the left. There is a door where that can be opened with a Shiv. Use 1 on it to get inside and find more Parts and other useful supplies. Now you have a choice: you can either deal with all the Clickers or just one of them.

If you want to kill all the Clickers then make your forward in the right-hand rooms. There is a second Clicker in the next display room on that side. Just let it come to you and then you can take it down without much trouble after that. Just head into the hallway after that and get to the end of it. There you will find the third and final Clicker. Kill it then you can safely open the double-doors at the end of the hall on the left.

Alternatively, if you only have 1 or 2 Shivs (or the supplies for 1 or 2), stay to the hallway and use Listen Mode to evade the Clickers. This will only put 1 in your path and it is easy enough to have the supplies for 2 Shivs. As you close on it, grab a bottle or brick and throw it past the Clicker to distract it. You want to get through the double-doors on the left at the end of the hallway.

In this new hallway you will find a stairwell. Take the stairs leading up as the ones going down are a dead end. At the top open the door on the left then head into the next hallway and go down it to the right. You will see an Infected pounding away at a door. Take him down and you will hear Tess on the other side under attack. After that Ellie is under attack from another Runner. Take down the one on her then it is time to deal with a small wave of them. You can either shoot them when they are charging or use your Melee weapon to take them down as they close. If you can get them one on one then use Melee, when it is a group favor your gun. Grab whatever bottles and bricks you find in this area to stun the Infected and get a quick kill on them. With that fight down head over to the far right-hand window and hop through it. If any more Infected appear try to smash them down with a bottle or brick.
