Deadpool Walkthrough Part 28 – Front Gates Of EEEEEEEVIL! (Final Battle: Sinister Clones)
Time to deal with the Sinister clones that appear to attack you. This is a new kind of clone for you to confront. He does like to move in for melee attacks and he can fire off a rapid energy spike at Deadpool as well. If you see the counter prompt and Deadpool is nearby one, hit it. This will avoid a massive attack that he will throw out at Deadpool. He also has a simple 3-hit melee combo he will occasionally use.
These actually have 1 glaring weakness: Flashbangs. Set one off between the pair that is coming at you and they will be stunned more than long enough for 2 Instant Kills. This works especially well for the first few pairs of clones. It also works well in the later portions of the fight to quickly eliminate the Buffer Sinister Clones that regularly appear and make your life that much harder for you to deal with.. The hammers with Stunner Shades also does a good job because of the daze effect and the area Momentum Attacks make it a lot easier to get multiple Sinister Clones in a single attack.
When they start appearing in trios, then you want to lob the flashbangs at the one giving the boost. In each trio there is likely 1 that is boosting either their offense or defense. You can get at least 2 in the time frame that they are stunned. There are only a few groups of these before there is another pause and then you are after the big groups.
After a while that trio of Sinister Clones will grow to a group of 5 or 6. This is when you really need to be moving around to avoid the damage that they can do to you. Just keep lobbing your Flashbangs at them to just stun them and then get some quick killings and some massive DP gathering. Remember to go for any instant kills that you see as that is one less you need to deal with dodging.
There are more than enough Sinister clones that it is hard to take them on head on at any given time. Still, they are not quite fast enough to keep up with you running around if you need time to heal up. Take your time building up momentum with smaller attacks then unleash the Momentum Attacks on the clones to quickly dispatch a number of them at a single time. This is very handy when you run low or out of Flashbangs.
Once you take down the final Sinister clone then a cutscene runs and you have one final thing to do. You can either wait for the trap to be triggered or just hit the button to move things forward. From there you will be able to deal with Sinister and bring this whole game to an end.
Congratulations on beating Deadpool! You have done Wade proud!
