Remember Me – S-Pressens: Unlocking and Usage Part 2

Remember Me – S-Pressens: Unlocking and Usage Part 2

Introduction
S-Pressens are very different from the Basic Pressens. For one they consume a chuck of focus, the blue meter within the Senwheel, when they are used. These powerful attacks can be used to turn the tide of battle but are also mandatory for some enemies to fall. It is vital that you do not expend a S-Pressens unless it is needed. The sole case you can unleash one leisurely is when you have a massive excess of Focus.

Nilin begins with only so much focus. Over the course of the story you can find a total of 15 Focus Bands. For every 5 that you collect, Nilin will gain 1 additional chuck of Focus she can use for S-Pressens.

Logic Bomb
Unlock: Episode 4 (Training Room: Heavy Prison Enforcers)
Explosion Damage: 300
Blast Range: 4.5 Meters
Cooldown: 180 Seconds

This is a very explosive virus that will do heavy damage to all enemies (and Nilin!) within its blast radius. It has the ability to destroy a Heavy Enforcer's Shields without too much difficulty in a single burst. It can affixed to any ground-based enemy that Nilin is fighting as long as they do not have a shield. Nilin will also have a short burst of invincibility while attaching the bomb. This makes it a great escape tactic when dealing with larger groups of Leapers or Enforcers. Never directly target an Elite Enforcer. It is much better to attach it to any nearby standard unit that is vulnerable to the attack. Consider vaulting into the center of a large group of enemies to place the bomb then vault right back out when done.

Once attached the bomb has a very short fuse (approximately 1 second). This gives Nilin a very, very small escape window. Early on, even at full health this attack will leave her reeling and badly damage. The blast radius is displayed on the ground so leap to get out of the area as quickly as possible.

Rust In Pieces
Unlock: Episode 4 (Battle 2 In Prison Courtyard, post Nephilim)
Seraphim Bolt Damage: 20
Nephilim Blast Damage: 300
Cooldown: 180 Seconds

This Sensen allows Nilin to convert enemy robots into allies for a while before they self-destruct. This will effect Seraphim (Aerial) and the Nephilim units (Terran) only. Used on a Seraphim the aerial unit will target nearby ground units and fire on them for several seconds. After that time has passed it will explode. Taking over this unit is recommended when fighting Leapers, Enforcers and Prison Enforcers. This is also useful for the obvious of Out-of-Reach enemies.

The Nephilim generally makes a better target for Rust to Pieces. It has a unique effect of reversing the polarity of the Nephilim's shield. This will cause it to suck in all the enemies and then detonate its shield with a massive blast. This makes it a very useful attack against Elite Enforcers and other Heavy units.

Sensen Camo
Unlock: Episode 6 (Bad Request's Cell)
Invisibility Duration: 30 Seconds
Cooldown: 180 Seconds

This S-Pressen turns Nilin invisible for a time. This grants her the advantage of being able to instantly use Memory Overload any any susceptible enemy. The invisibility will end as soon as Nilin does damage to an Enemy unit or uses another S-Pressen. Remember to strike down something with Memory Overload you will want to sneak behind the foe and hit the prompted button as soon as it appears. This attack is best against Elite Enforcers as it will ensure that you can take them down quickly. Be sure you have a Cooldown Pressen Combo chain on hand when you are using this tactic against a group of Elite Enforcers.
