The Last Of Us Walkthrough Part 62 – Chapter 9: Lakeside Resort (Joel Wakes Up)

Joel finally comes to after the ordeal at the University. He is not completely recovered but it seems close enough. Look to the right and grab the supplies there so he can have a little more ammo. Ellie is nowhere to be found and this worries him. Head on up the stairs to the main part of the house.

Joel will look around quickly for Ellie there but he still does not see her. Go over to the counter and check for any Crafting Items before heading into the garage where Callus was to do the same. After that you can head out either through the front door or the garage. Head on down the road and duck behind the van you see in front of you. Wait there as 4 Survivors will show up and start shooting at you. Use the van as cover to pick off some of the Survivors. They are pretty quick to take cover themselves against Joel. Only 2 stay in the front portion of the house to fire on Joel. Take them out then start advancing carefully.

You can advance into the backyard either through the left or the right. There is nothing to worry about in this backyard so head into it and go over to the left where you find a break in the fence. Get to it and look around it. You will see a shed just in front of you. Make a run for it. There are 2 Survivors here that will initially be shooting at you.. One will run away while the other stays and fights. Gun down the one who remains and start for the house after that.

Head on in through the back door. Look to the left and across the counter. You will find a number of Parts and Crafting Items that Joel can claim. Head on through the other door and into the next room. Go over to the left and hop out the window.

As Joel lands turn to the right and hop the barrier there. Fight off the 2 Survivors in the cutscene and then Joel gets on to interrogating them. He gets the information he wants and makes sure they do not go anywhere after he is done with them.
