Tired of running right into battle in Batman: Arkham Origins? Try your hand at stealth by completing special Predator Challenges. There are 12 of these scattered around Gotham, and to complete them you’ll need to be sneaky and use Batman’s stealth abilities, like Silent Takedown. There are 3 medals for each challenge, and getting all the medals contributes to the “Medalist” achievement or trophy. Ready to get started?
Some general tips – always scout your environment to see what you can use. Typically, these challenges are in areas with vents and grappling points. Use these to your advantage to get the jump on the enemies. Also, use nearby items to create distractions, such as fire extinguishers. Killing all the enemies in the area completes the challenge.
Challenges become available as you go through the story. To get the six extreme challenges, you have to complete the regular challenges first. You can do a Predator Challenge at any time.
These ones are pretty self-explanatory. To get Smash Landing, use one of the breakable windows in the area. For Explosive Takedown, go up to a vantage point and use your Batclaw to grab a propane tank.
Do the vent takedown first, and then find the gargoyle on a perch. You can use this for an inverted takedown. Finally, use the breakable walls in the room you started in to get Blast Zone.
To take down two at once, go to the ledge where a soldier is looking at a Christmas tree. Be patient; another soldier will come and stand next to him. Then do a ledge takedown on both of them. Then use the statue to the left above a soldier with goggles for Chaos Theory. Use any enemy for Knockout Smash.
There are two enemies close together on the first floor. To get Over the Ledge, you’ll need to use the Batclaw to pull a patrol towards a ledge you are hanging off of. Finally, you’ll need the zipline upgrade to get Zip and Out.
Head up to the right, to the vantage point. There is a weak ceiling below. Wait for the patrol to get underneath and take him down. Use the mine upgrade to get Mined Your Step, and for the last medal, use your remote claw with a fire extinguisher to create smoke and takedown any enemy.
Use Detective Mode to find weak walls and look for an enemy with goggles under a vantage point for Chaos Theory. For Take the Bait, you need to have the Sonic Batarang upgrade. Draw an enemy in and then take him out.
First, find the enemy standing near the ledge and yank him off. Next, use two vantage points to create a tightrope and take someone down. Finally, use any of the windows to get an enemy.
Search from the armored enemy first and defeat him. This causes a soldier to come investigate – put gel by the ladder to blow him up. Finally, use your mines to blow up any enemy.
At the beginning of the map, pull the sniper after the Christmas tree over the ledge. Then, get into corner cover and try to attract an enemy. When they get close enough, take them down. For Breaking and Entering, use a takedown through the weak wall in the front of the store. You’ll need to attract an enemy to the location first.
You can’t use Detective Mode here if you want all the medals, so it’s a bit tricky. First, use your slide attack on a lone enemy and get that medal out of the way. Next, use vantage points to find a fire extinguisher, and use it to perform the silent takedown. After you take out all the other enemies, get the jammer.
There’s no medal for killing the jammer last this time, so defeat him if you need your special vision. If you want, use a beatdown and get that out of the way. To get Scare Tactics, string up lots of soldiers to spook one still on the ground. For the last medal, disrupt any enemies gun and then take him out while it’s jammer.
This last challenge requires you to have a few upgrades. You need to use your Sonic Shock Batarang upgrade to takedown an enemy. Next, look for the weak spot in the ceiling to smash through at the right time to takedown another soldier. For Confiscated Weapon, use the upgraded Batclaw to disarm any enemy and then take them out.
