Stitches, Terror of Darkshire Skills and Abilities - Heroes of the Storm


Stitches, Terror of Darkshire, is a warrior from the Warcraft franchise. Take care when crossing the dark trails of Duskwood, especially since the hermite Abercombie freed his abomination which now wanders aimlessly, hunrgy for the flesh of low level Alliance players.


Wandering abomination 

Stitches was originally a "present" created by Abercombie for Lord Ello Ebonlocke, mayor of Darkshire, to terrorise the town. This happens when you finish the quest Translation to Ello. When the first guard dies under the blows of Stitches; the town crier alerts everyone in Duskwood that an "abomination of the undead is approaching".

It wasn't rare for high level players to bring down Stitches on their own. Since the add-on Cataclysm, the arrival of Stitches has been removed because it is phased content, although the character is still present. 

The abominations were Scourge units in Warcraft III. Although slow, these resources were very tanky and dealt some quite high damage, fighting with great swings of their cleavers, their hooks and toxic gas. The abominations were created in the abattoirs often found in the Eastern Plaguelands and are often merely simple soldiers, even if some manage to reach positions higher up.

These creatures are thirsty for blood and destroy everything in their path without pity. They are pretty stupid and have difficulty communicating. Always sporting a very crude look, they constantly walk about with their guts hanging out, varying in colour but often in reds, purples and greens. The character Pudge that you can find in DotA and DOTA 2 is also taken from the model of the abominations. He fights with the aid of a butcher's hook, a cleaver and a greenish, putrid smoke cloud. 


Stitches' abilities: Choose your poison

Stitches is a warrior whose main aim is to disable enemy heroes and deal them damage. He has some good sustain which he owes to his resistance and HP regeneration. Depending on the heroic ability used, you can go for some extra CC or a single target disable, making him a relatively well rounded character. 

(D) Vile Gas

When damaged, Stitches emits a gas cloud that persists for 4 seconds. Enemies who enter it are poisoned for 14 damage a second for 3 seconds.

(Q) Hook

- 75 Mana
- Skillshot
- Cooldown: 14 seconds


Pulls the first enemy it contacts towards Stitches, dealing 200 (48 + 8 per level) damage and stunning them for 0.5 seconds.

(W) Slam

- 55 Mana
- Cone spell
- Cooldown: 8 seconds


Deals 175 (61 + 6 per level) damage to enemies within the target area.

(E) Devour

- 75 Mana
- Cooldown: 30 seconds


Deals 300 damage to Minions or 250 (60 + 10 per level) damage to Heroes. Restores 20% of Stitches's maximum health.

(R)  Putrid Bile

- 75 Mana
- Heroic ability
- Cooldown: 60 seconds


Emits bile that deals 80 (23 + 3 per level) damage per second to enemies within, slowing them by 35%. Lasts 8 seconds.

(R) Gorge

- 80 Mana
- Heroic ability
- Cooldown: 80 seconds


Completely consume target enemy Hero, trapping them in Stitches' stomach for 3.06 seconds and dealing 125 (30 + 5 per level) damage per second. The trapped Hero cannot move or act and doesn't take damage from other sources.

This ability cannot be used on massive Heroes.
