October may still be a few days away but it’s already shaping up to be a fantastic month for MMO players! Wildstar will be free to play, Guild Wars 2’s expansion Heart of Thorns will be released, and there’s so much more. But where do you start?
The open beta for Star Wars Battlefront will be in full swing from October 8th to October 12th. This means everyone will finally get to play what is easily the most anticipated new title of 2015 thanks to the hype of the upcoming Star Wars movie. During the beta players will be able to try out the 40 player battles on Hoth, 8v8 battles on Sullust, and the solo or co-op survival mission on Tatooine. So put October 8-12th on your calendar and get ready for an all new Star Wars experience.
You’ll have to wait until the end of October to take part in Blade & Soul’s closed beta, this event doesn’t start until October 30th. Three years after the launch of Blade & Soul in Korea the Western audience will at last get their first glimpse of the highly anticipated MMORPG. The only way to guarantee you’re in the closed beta is to buy a Founder’s Pack from NCSoft.
