Until Dawn allows the players to collect various items including Totems. These Totems are divided into five different categories. This guide covers the locations of Fortune Totems, which are marked as a White Butterfly in the game.
The locations below are listed in chronological order of the story while the Totem number might be out of order in the game.
After getting hits with a mine cart, you have to take Mike and Jessica down a path. Keep sticking to the right and you will encounter a small room with the totem and other collectibles.
When you enter the grounds for the Sanatorium, head left to the fountain. You will reach the front gate and can locate this Fortune Totem there.
Chapter 5 – Fortune Totem #3 (Character = Matt)
After sliding around the cable car station, walk up the hill. At the top of the hill is this Fortune Totem just before Emily.
After passing the crack in the wall as Emily, look to the right to find the Totem located under a wooden structure.
In the cave, when you take control of Sam with Mike, you need to go to the right of the drop off point into the water.
Follow Mike back to the water after taking control of Josh. You will encounter a large open space along the way to the left, it contains the last Fortune Totem.
Until Dawn was developed by Supermassive Games, who used the Killzone Shadow Fall engine for the game. It is published by Sony Computer Entertainment and released exclusively for the PS4 on August 25th.
