The action-RPG Marvel Heroes is all about gaining experience points and leveling up your characters. In our test, we mentioned that this was one of our favorite things to do in the superhero online game. It’s a lot of fun to watch your character get stronger and learn new powers and skills. We did mention, however, that it can get quite tiring to level up more than one superhero because you have to play through the same levels over and over again. 

In the course of the game, we soon realized that there were a couple of ways to receive some extra experience points. This might make the process of leveling up a little bit more focused. In Marvel Heroes, some enemies have a yellow or blue glow around them. You should always go after these opponents because they will give you extra experience points when you defeat them. Keep in mind, though, that these enemies will also be somewhat stronger than your regular foes. 

Defeat the glowing enemies to receive extra experience points.

Another way to gain some extra experience is to interrupt enemies’ evil plots and schemes. Every once in a while, you will see a group of opponents gather around to discuss their evil plans. Attack them before they see you and defeat the entire group to gain some extra experience points. 

As mentioned in an earlier tip, you should collect the yellow experience orbs as quickly as possible because they will get smaller and less efficient the longer they lie around.
