Most Anticipated Korean MMORPGs in 2016 .

It seems these days more and more of the most popular MMORPGs are coming for Korea. But with so many already announced, can there really be more on the way? Of course there can. Check out some of the most anticipated Korean MMORPGs for next year.

Ar:piel Online

Arpiel Online

Announced by Nexon earlier this year Ar:piel Online offers adorable graphics, classes that are based on animals and so much more. Will it ever make it to western audiences? Possibly. Nexon has a global presence which increases the likelihood of it coming here. It’s currently in beta testing and is expected to launch sometime in 2016 though no date has been set yet.

Lost Ark

Lost Ark is a gorgeous fantasy based game headed for beta in Korea and China. Though we had originally expected to find out more information about Lost Ark during G-Star sadly there wasn’t anything new that wasn’t announced at Tencent’s event where they said they would be bringing the game to China. Once again there aren’t any signs right now that it will be coming west but we’re crossing our fingers just in case.

Lineage Eternal

Lineage has easily been NCSoft’s most popular game, with Lineage 2 enjoying quite a bit of popularity on its own. It really came as no surprise when Lineage Eternal was announced. The beta for Lineage Eternal has been delayed until 2016 and it is unknown if or when it will ever come to the west. The majority of the popularity the previous Lineage games have enjoyed have been in Asia. But I suspect NCSoft will bring it west eventually.

Perhaps the biggest thing to take from all of this is that Korea gets tons of fantastic games that those of us living in the west may never actually see. Thankfully we have other titles like Black Desert Online and Blade & Soul.
