Plants vs. Zombies 2: Let’s Play through Level 15 of Big Wave Beach

Plants vs. Zombies 2

We here at browsergamez.com feel like we’ve used up all of our superlatives to describe how much more difficult the levels of the Big Wave Beach world get in Plants vs. Zombies 2. While level 15 was the most difficult up to this point of the new world of the tower defense game, it was at least possible to make it through more or less comfortably as soon as we employed the right strategy. Naturally, we will share how we survived, so that you don’t have to deal with the frustration.

In stage 15, you have to not only survive the hordes of zombies, but also protect one row of plants while doing so. The tricky part about this is that the plants you have to protect against damage are Potato Mines, which explode upon contact. That means that there is no nibbling first in case the zombies make it through your line of defense. If they step too close, the Potato Mines will explode and you will lose the level. That being said, let us tell you which zombies you will be dealing with and which plants you should equip yourself with.
You will be facing the same old cast of zombies that you should be familiar with at this point of the world. Regular zombies, Coneheads, Bucketheads, Surfers, Snorkel Zombies, and Imp Mermaid Zombies. We recommend you equip yourself with Twin Sunflowers, Snapdragons, Lightning Reeds, Infi-nuts, Lily Pads, Tangle Kelps, and Bowling Bulbs.

In order to succeed in this level of the mobile game, we advise you to stick to a very specific setup. In the beginning, we recommend you focus only on planting Twin Sunflowers and taking out approaching zombies with your Tangle Kelps. Once you have four sunflowers, focus on your first line of attack and defense. Position Infi-nuts as quickly as possible on the fifth row from the left. Position two Snapdragons behind them to be prepared for the first major wave of the walking dead. Don’t forget to also position Bowling Bulbs in the second row from the left, as they will be much needed to defend yourself against those pesky surfers. If your setup looks like ours on the screenshot below, you should have no problem surviving the level.
Keep in mind, however, to position all of your plants that are in front of the Potato Mines on Lily Pads as the approaching flood will drown your flora if you don’t. If things get rough, don't hesitate to use your green leaf buffs.
