Staying Together Cheats: Tips & Strategy for Beating All Spring Levels

Staying Together is a cute, simple puzzle platformer that has you control two lovers. You must maneuver them around dangerous paths on your quest to reunite them, and it’s a lot easier said than done, as the two move in unison! Careful planning is the name of the game here, so let’s get started with our Staying Together cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Note that since you can only play the Spring levels without paying for additional levels, we’ve written a guide for all of the Spring levels. Read on to find out how to beat all of the Spring levels in Staying Together and get all heart pieces!

1-1: This one’s easy – as you can imagine – since it’s the intro level. Moving left and right on the left side of the screen causes the left side character to move in those directions, but the right side character in the opposite directions. Tapping the right side of the screen jumps, and you can double jump. Grab all the heart pieces and move into the light to move on!

1-2: The first obstacle: spikes! Take a moment to jump off the woman’s cliff to grab a heart piece, but be sure to move back onto safe ground before the man falls off. Fall into the woman’s side spike pit just for a split second to grab the piece, then double jump to safety.

1-3: This one is easy; just jump over the single spike.

1-4: Easy as well. Fall into the pit on the woman’s side to grab the piece then double jump out.

1-5: Here’s where things get a little bit tricky. Move the man all the way to right, and stop him above the cliff where the woman is. Here you can do two things: you can have the man jump up and grab the piece in the air. After that, you can have the woman drop below and grab the floating piece, this time without having the man jump right into spikes. Then, use the wall above the woman’s starting point to space the two out, then meet in the center.

1-6: Move the man left and woman right to grab two heart pieces. Keep the man in the little hole, then move the woman all the way back left. While she’s running into the wall, you can move the man right over the 5 spikes. Have him jump up to the last heart piece, then make some space so they can meet in the middle.

1-7: Have the man grab the heart directly to the right, but don’t fall off and grab that second one. Instead, fall off to the left. Now, you want to keep to the woman on her starting platform while you make the man grab the piece to the bottom left. After that, have him stand near meeting point then have the woman jump down, grabbing the last piece.

1-8: This one’s all about timing. There’s a heart piece on both sides, so have both of them jump towards their respective pieces, and the moment they touch the heart, immediately turn around and double jump. You should be able to make it back for a quick victory.

1-9: Have both drop down, but quickly move right with the woman and double jump to grab the heart. Land on the second platform, run into the walls so that both are at equal distances, then jump and grab the remaining two heart pieces.

1-10: Easy! Just utilize the middle hill platforms to space the two and give enough distance so you can grab the heart pieces. When you’re done, have the woman jump over the tall platform over into the meeting point.

1-11: Simple! If you haven’t mastered the wall technique yet, you’re going to now! Just take turns keeping the one running into wall so that the other may proceed.

1-12: Probably the hardest level so far. Make the two start moving towards the meeting point. The woman will need to double jump across the five spike pit, while the man has to jump, land, then double jump to make it across his path. You need to do this all in one motion, otherwise someone will get stuck with spikes. Once you have them in the middle, don’t meet yet. Make them go opposite directions to collect their hearts. After you’ve gotten the woman’s heart, have the man drop down back to where he started then air jump back on to the platform. You need to be very quick about it otherwise you’ll miss the jump, and if you’re too early you’ll jump into the spikes. Then, do what you did at the very beginning of the level, meeting back at the center. Whew!

1-13: Drop off the cliff and jump back on the get the piece left of the man. Now, try to get the man to drop down the hole while keeping the woman on the two-step platform. Have the woman jump up to the second heart piece, and by then the man should be near the meeting point. Have him drop down, then quickly double jump to get the heart piece under the cliff.

1-14: Drop the man into his hole, then get the woman into her hole using only single jumps. Then you can get them both out to meet in the center, but go after the heart pieces first.

1-15: Have the woman jump up, grab the first piece, drop down, then drop down again and immediately double jump to grab the second piece. The man will follow, but instead of having him drop down where the second piece was, have him jump over the pit. Here, he’ll jump over the three spikes while the woman jumps into that L-shaped alcove. Have her run into the wall to bring the man closer, then grab the last piece on the way out.

1-16: Man will jump over his gap surrounded by the two spikes; don’t fall into it just yet. Grab the heart piece, and the woman should be in the pit. Jump up and grab the piece above her. Now you can have the man drop down and grab the last piece, but be careful of the spikes directly below it.

1-17: This one isn’t too complex, but it’s kind of tricky because it’s all about timing. You need to get the two across the respective paths full of spikes, and you will constantly have to have them jump at different times. Just keeps your eyes on both sides. Once you get them to the center, have the man jump up the walls to get the last piece, and create enough space so that he can meet.

1-18: Things get crazy here! Grab the first piece with the man, then have the two jump up on the small ledges. Once the two get up to the top paths, have the woman go right for a while. This will allow the man to have enough space to traverse the top-most platform. Once she hits the wall, go over it to grab the heart piece. Go up another platform with the woman while having the man go across the top-most platform. You’ll see it has a small wall at the right side; use this to keep the woman from moving while bringing the man closer. Once he’s close enough, have him drop down. Then, the woman will go left and drop back all the way to the start to grab the last piece. The key here is to keep the man on the meeting point platform; don’t have him drop down as well. Work your way back up with the woman and voila!

1-19: Grab the piece directly right to the woman, jumping back to the left after you do so. Have the man drop down, grab the piece, then immediately jump to safety. Keep the woman on the middle platform, and have the man jump up to the small ledge. They’ll be conjoined for a while, so grab the heart piece above. Have one of them continue right while the other stays in the wall. The next part is very tricky: there is a wall that you can use to keep whoever is on the point, however there’s a single spike right by it! What you have to do is jump into the wall while moving so that the other character can move, but you also need to move back with a double jump to avoid the spike. Little by little you’ll make your way, and then victory!

1-20: This is it! A test of everything you’ve learned so far! Just kidding, this level is actually kind of easier than level 19. At the start, grab the heart to the right of the woman. Move towards the center, and the man will hit a small bump in the ground. Do this for a while so that the woman has space to clear the spike pit in front of her. Both will drop down the hole, then jump to the sides to avoid the spikes. Here’s the tricky part: have the woman go off the right side, then double jump to land into the second hole. You can’t see the ground from above, but it’s safe, so don’t worry. While you’re doing this, you’re going to have to make the man double jump to clear over the three spikes. Once you’ve got the woman on the platform below, you can guide the man freely down. Grab the remaining two heart pieces to the left and you’re done!
