1. Complete the missions and the daily challenges!

Missions are fixed sets of objectives such as collecting coins, jumping a number of times, and so forth. You get boosts and rewards for completing them. If you’re stuck on a objective, they can also be skipped in the shop, but this isn’t recommended as it’s quite expensive to buy a skip. Daily challenges are also worth doing, as you are rewarded with a nice amount of coins. Even better, if you manage to do them consecutively, the coin bonus will get bigger!

2. Stay on top of the trains!

You’ll notice very quickly that some of the trains in subway are actually moving… moving towards you! Sometimes you’ll be dodging moving trains left and right and if you’re in the wrong place at the wrong time, you can even get trapped by multiple trains. Try to stay on top of the trains for as long as you can. The heightened camera angle makes it easier to see what’s coming ahead, and if there’s anything you need to watch out for. Only go down for a moderate amount of coins or a power up.

3. Use your hoverboard in an emergency!

The hoverboard acts as a shield and can be activated at any time by double-tapping. Hoverboards only last for a limited amount of time, and if you take a hit you will immediately lose it, but you’ll keep on running! If you feel like you’re heading into dangerous territory, activate a hoverboard. Hoverboards are consumable and more must be bought before you can use them again. You can buy a pack of 3 of them for 300 coins, which isn’t too bad.

4. Complete the Awards!

Awards act like achievements and they can be tracked in the “me” section of the main menu. Each award is worth a certain amount of keys, so you should try to do as many as possible. Keys will help you unlock things in the store, and awards are the only way to get them besides watching a daily advertisement video, and who wants to do that?!

5. Conserve your coins!

The additional characters and hoverboards in the shop cost hefty amounts of coins, but there are no statistical differences between them, only cosmetic. Try to save your coins for boosts and power up upgrades first, then if you have any coins left over you can use them for more characters.
