Monster Busters: Hexa Blast Cheat for Coins, Moves, and Lives

Monster Busters: Hexa Blast is a game that will feel very familiar, but at the same time its very different with the changed shape of the pieces. This game is available on most major platforms, iOS, Android, and Facebook. The hexagonal shape makes the matching up of pieces different than a game like Candy Crush and by doing so it makes me feel as if the game is more original than its counterparts. To complete a level all you have to do is match three or more of same colored monsters to defeat the monsters on the board and save the Gingerbread friends that are along the board. The board is an odd shape and it gives the game a more silly and fun feel to it which makes me feel like playing it a lot more than any other game of this genre.

The game does a great job of switching up the objectives to keep the levels exciting as they get progressively more difficult as you play your way through all levels to beat the bosses. The game starts off very easy just as Candy Crush did and it slowly gets more difficult as it adds more blocks in. The game has a good curve that allows for the levels to get increasingly harder without making some levels impossible for new players. The game makes you think before acting and it does punish you for not playing properly and making careless moves in general. The layout takes quite a long time to get used to if you’ve played any other match 3 type of game and that proves to be a challenge for me.

MonsterBuster: Hexa Blast is the latest match-3 Facebook and mobile game developed by PurpleKiwii studios where players may defeat the same-color monsters in the game and rescue the helpless Gingerbread man on each stage. Each stage begins with a certain requirement to meet like a target score requirement and some combinations to fulfill as you match up the colors. At the beginning of every stage, players also have a certain number of moves in order to meet each level’s requirements or goal. The first few levels of gameplay involve working with a very basic board pattern which gets larger and larger after a few levels.

Completing several levels in a row will lead you into a boss fight where you will have to destroy the boss that has trapped several Gingerbreads. Players must defeat the boss by matching three color monsters surrounding the big boss. Each match that the players make around the boss will free one gingerbread to safety. The addition of a boss level really gives this game a unique feel and doesn’t make me feel like I’m playing Candy Crush like a lot of match 3 games do.

Monster Busters: Hexa Blast also offers players several different items and upgrades to help them in their mission to free the Gingerbreads from the evil monsters. Some of the items are Special Bombs/Magic Hammer, Five Extra Moves, Three Extra Moves, Toy Hammers, Toy Shovels, Time Machine, Shuffler, and Magic Wand. The Special Bombs or Magic Hammers are items players can equip before starting a level. These items can also be randomly placed around the board. The items can wipe out a few matched color monsters which can also help defeat a boss and clear the board eventually. The +5 or +3 Extra Moves are used to grant players extra moves or lives for players which can make a level go from being nearly impossible to do to it being easier to manage.

Some of in game items are the toy hammer which players can use to smash a monster or block. When using this, only the top layer will be cleared. Another item to use in the game is the toy shovel which can transfer a monster to another block to allow you to strategize better and set yourself up for a bigger combo. Another item available for use is the time machine which can offer players a chance to go back in time by one move. I feel like this could be one of the most beneficial items to use because messing up on one turn could completely ruin your game if you aren’t careful. To shuffle other monsters on the board, the players may use the Shuffler item. One of the most important items that is available for use is the Magic Wand, a tool that can change a regular monster into a random bomb that can easily help you clear the board.

Besides from the items which players can use within the game, they may also combine four colored monsters and creating Ringed Bomb, a very strong item that can clear a whole line of same color monsters. Another upgrade that players can utilize is the vertical bomb which players can move a monster vertically while the Right-up Bomb moves a monster diagonally for clearing another set of same-color monsters in a line. All of these different items make the game a lot more interesting than a vanilla type of game that doesn’t offer anything other than the game at face value.

Playing Monster Busters: Hexa Blast can be really addictive and fun, but you will often want to purchase in-app items to help you through the game. Our Monster Busters: Hexa Blast Cheats & Tips

I highly suggest linking your Facebook account and making posts to help you get more things in game to make the levels easier and allow you to play the game if out of lives. By posting things on Facebook you can ask for free lives, ask for free golden keys, send gifts to your friends, and collect more coin rewards.

I have a list compiled that shows the different types of bonuses you get for connecting a certain amount of blocks together and how they effect the gameplay in each level. Remember to make larger combinations to get more points and the bonus that you receive.

-Match three same-color monsters to defeat monsters.
-Match three or more same-color monsters to achieve high target score.
-When four same-color monsters matched: a strong Bomb created.
-Match four monsters to create a Ringed Bomb.
-Match five monsters in a straight line to create a Magic Hammer.
-Match five same-color monsters into a V shape to create a Round Bomb.

By looking at the list you can ensure that you get the most out of every move to gain more points and a better bonus item to use to clear out more blocks.

There are videos, just like Candy Crush or any other match 3 game like this, that show you a walkthrough of each level and you can view them to help you out on almost any level. Now this is obviously an option and lots of people choose to do this but I feel like its a bit cheaty to do and possibly ruins the experience at times. You can go on to YouTube to find these videos and go from there if that’s how you’d like to go about finishing the levels.

Monster Busters: Hexa Blast Review

This new game from Purplekiwii studio is a welcome addition to the Monster Busters world as the characters in the new game are the same but it’s a match 3 type of game with different power ups depending on how many of the same type you match up in a row. I have been thoroughly enjoying it so far, this is day one of playing the game but I have already put in a few hours. I can see myself playing this more and getting much further into the game until the levels become more tedious than they are fun.

I tend to stay away from most puzzle games due to the irritation they bring at times. The system they use for lives is something that can make me upset a bit when I know I can beat a level but simply am unable to play for the time being. Games like this are meant to get under your skin and try to get you to want to beat more levels to prove you can do it. This game does it quite well along with the different things it adds to the common match three game.

A big plus in my mind is the lack of ads and forced IAPs. The game in no way forces you to buy things in game and with enough planning and thought you can beat each level without having to spend a dime. About the ads, I have yet to see one and I’m curious if this is intentional or if my game was running into a problem. I am by no means complaining about this and do hope it’s intentional due to many games having an overwhelming amount of ads thrown in. This game has made a name for itself in my mind and the entire series of games they have put out seem to have stellar reviews as well. I definitely recommend this game to people who like puzzle games similar to Candy Crush and are looking for a new twist to the basic concept of the game.

Monster Busters: Hexa Blast Ratings

Artwork: While looking at the other games that this company has put out I can see that this game follows the same art style that the other games have had. It has a very cartoonish vibe to it and that really does fit the type of game you’re playing. I do feel as if this game is marketed to a younger audience, but the difficulty of some levels does make it seem like the game could be aimed at a more mature audience as well. The artwork is deserving of an 8/10 and I really do enjoy the theme they chose for it.

Music and SFX: The game has a very bubbly feel to it and the music contributes to it quite well. The sound effects and music go quite well with the very childish type of art they have and they small characters within the game all fit perfectly with the music they chose. So many games over think the music and decide to put music that clutters the game up and takes away from the game. Monster Busters: Hexa Blast gets it right and has the music at an elevator music type of level where it plays lightly in the background. I give it a solid 8/10 for the music and SFX within the game.

Originality: The game itself and the general idea of the game is by no means original. That is not a bad thing because every genre needs to have its competitors and this is a perfect one to rival the Candy Crush series. The originality comes from the hexagonal shape and the aspect of saving the little characters that are incorporated from other games. Without these small tweaks it would essentially be another match three game and we all know there don’t need to be too many more of those. Monster Busters: Hexa Blast does a great job by mixing things up and I commend them for doing such in a very refreshing way to me and most players of this game. I would give this game a 7/10 for originality.

Addictiveness: This game, just as any other match three game, can be very addictive if you are into these types of games. I for one am not somebody who will normally play a game like this for 300 levels and make sure to get three stars on each one but I can see this having a certain addictive feel to it once you get a decent way through the levels. You want to continue because it’s a fun game and you’ve already put a lot of time into it. Games like this aim to annoy and drag you in. This game has qualities that make the game frustrating and leave you wanting more, but it doesn’t overdo it to the point of it not being fun anymore. I give it an 8/10 for addictiveness.

Overall I would give Monster Busters: Hexa Blast a 8/10 when it comes down to it and I belive that’s a gracious rating given the originality and such. I do recommend playing this game if you enjoy match three games in general and would love a new twist to a mobile game classic.
