1. Bring the right troops for the job!

Each unti class has a type to it, along with its own weakness and strength. Light (sword icon) units are strong against Precision (crosshair icon) units, while Precision is strong against Magic (pentagram icon) units. Magic units are strong against Heavy (anvil icon) units. If you wipe out during a battle, the enemies will always be the same when you tackle the fight again, so try to build your team accordingly to get the upper hand.

2. Don’t hang onto your resources!

As soon as you can afford a building upgrade or new troops, be sure to spend your resources to avoid wasting them. This is especially important early on, as you won’t have enough storage space to hold all of the resources you get from winning fights and receiving tribute from the villages you save.

3. Activate the Altar of Gems!

See that shiny purple building in your village? That’s the Altar of Gems. This building creates gems, the premium currency of the game, for you after a certain amount of time. The thing is, you need special items to activate it in the first place. However, your very first time is free. So, the moment you start playing, activate the altar, as it takes three hours for it to finish producing the first batch of gems.

4. Complete the achievements!

The achievements can be found by swiping the left side screen while you’re looking at your village. The achievements are typical missions, like completing a certain amount of missions or collect a specific amount of resources. The important thing is that achievements are actually worth precious gems, so try to do as many as you can.

5. Keep training units!

Don’t leave your dojos idle! Always have units training if you have the resources to do so. Be sure to train different types of units; don’t just train basic ninjas over and over again. You’re going to need a balanced army to take on the later battles, so don’t skip out on any types of units.

6. Build more villager huts!

Villager huts are required as your village grows. They will allow more people to move into your village, but they will also bring additional income to your village. Every so often, you’ll be able to collect a random resource from your villagers. This can help with your total resource income so build some more huts when you can.
