Farm Away!is a brand new clicker - well, swiper - which launched last week and has you trying to build your your very own profitable farm full of crops, fruit, and animals.
Despite its simplicity it does pose a fair challenge - especially to genre newcomers who may feel a little confused about when and what to upgrade, what the buffs do, and why you should reset your progress on market day.
Well, don't worry about all that because148Appshas got you covered. Read below to learn all of the best tips and tricks to get you earning the big bucks inFarm Away!.
Watch those ads
No, that isn't a warning and I'm not suddenly as mad as a hatter.Farm Away!is part of a new genre of games known as 'view to play' where ads aren't a mere inconvenience - they're a vital part of the gameplay.
There's a rain buff which doubles your profits for four hours and a sun buff which doubles it for 20 seconds. Yes, they stack.
We'd advise you to keep these buffs up as much as possible - and go swipe crazy as soon as a sun buff is activated.
Pro-tip: use a sun buff after an extended break before collecting your crops for a quick and easy boost.
Speculate to accumulate...
Don't save your cash - ever. Every upgrade drastically increases your ability to accumulate vast hordes of cash so rather than save for the next patch of crops or expensive upgrade, it's best to keep boosting your crops until you can afford it comfortably.
That being said, if you do manage to save up a lot of cash it's always best to spend it on the most expensive upgrades first - particularly new crop patches or automated production upgrades, as these lead to the biggest income boost.
...But be cautious when spending gems and seeds
However, do be a little more cautious when spending your gems and seeds as they're nowhere near as plentiful as cash.
Where gems are concerned, it's a waste to spend them on buffs that move the clock forward. It really pays to be patient.
However, Insta-Seed and Plant Food are two upgrades worth saving for as the effects are permanent.
Sow those seeds
As for seeds, you can safely spend them on whatever upgrade you can afford at the time as all are permanent and useful.
The trick with these is knowing when to cash out on your farm for seeds. We'd say to avoid doing it until you know you've got enough seeds coming in for that next upgrade or progress on upgrading your farm has stalled.
