Swing Copters 2is here, and it's just as compelling and infuriating as the first game. Here are some tips to help you keep pushing up your high score.
Collect medals
Once you pass a score of ten, you'll start to earn medals, starting with bronze. These medals aren't just for show though. Medals can be used to unlock new characters with different stats.
It's like driving a car
While it may sound silly, a lot of the same principles of good driving also apply to Swing Copters 2. If you hold your phone with both hands and focus on moving objects instead of yourself or static objects, you should find your performance improve a bit.
While it may look like a game you play to distract yourself while waiting for the bus, focusing all of your attention on it is the real key to success here.
Character stats and what they mean
Swing Copters 2 not only introduces the presence of different characters, but different stats for them as well, which can shake up any normal rhythms for the game that you've established with the default character, Spinki Falling.
There are three stats. The first two are pretty self-explanatory, as they determine a character's vertical and horizontal speed, but the third stat is a little counterintuitive.
After messing with a few characters it seems like this third stat is most akin to turning radius or turning delay. This means that a high third stat actually means it will take longer to turn than a character with a lower score in that stat.
This ain't your daddy's Swing Copters
Swing Copters 2 might just look like a prettier version of the original, but - rest assured - it isn't. You'll notice this when you creep up to a score of around five, as platforms with hammers get smaller and more tightly packed, making for a more frantic and less predictable game.
So, if you're a Swing Copters veteran, don't worry, there's quite a few new challenges for you here.
