In a time of civil war and unrest in the Galaxy, the competing sides are gathering troops for their cause. The Rebellion is rallying for justice and freedom in the Galaxy, whereas the Empire wants complete control of the Galaxy. You have to pick a side which you will defend as you rise through the ranks as a strong field commander. Since the bursting popularity of Clash of Clans, the mobile gaming market has been awash with strategy management type games, all offering a variety of different things, Star Wars: Commander is one of these.
After playing Star Wars Commander for a while, you’ll probably realize that it’s difficult and time consuming to build up the amount of crystals, credits or alloy that you need to build the things you want. These resources are critical to your success in the game, without them, you wont have much of a chance of advancing very far in the game.
This is where the hack for Star Wars Commander comes in. This hack tool allows you to add thousands of crystals, alloy or credits directly to your Star Wars Commander account. The hack works by accessing the Star Wars Commander servers and adding the currency that you choose.

The premise of the game is that you are asked to pick between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire, the gameplay is essentially the same no matter which side you pick, but will have certain differences in the narrative and how your side approaches the Galactic War. The tutorial part of the game allows you to experience both sides so that you’re able to make an informed decision when it comes to picking which side you want to lend your support to. The Rebels use heroes in their fighting campaigns (You get to use Han Solo in the tutorial!) whereas The Empire prefers to build monstrous machines.
The storyline of Star Wars: Commander takes place between Episode IV: A New Hope and Episode V: The Empire Strikes back. A group of mercenaries have begun to settle their base of operations on Tatooine. The group is led by Saponza and his partner (the player), soon after, they are attacked by thugs in the employ of Jabba the Hutt, they quickly defeat the thugs, but knowing that they have angered Jabba, they search for allies to protect themselves, the mercenaries obtain contract job with both the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance, after finding their base destroyed, they chose to fully align with either the Rebels or the Empire.
Basically, you are given various missions in the form of holograms from whichever side you have chosen align with, through these missions you earn credits and alloys which you are able to work on upgrading your base with, you train any new troops and vehicles you may obtain. You can also create special hero units which differentiate depending on which side you picked in the beginning, I picked the Rebels so I saw heroes like Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and R2D2.
There are various in app purchases available to the player, the premium currency – crystals can be purchased for prices ranging from $4.99 to $99.99 in various quantities starting from a 500 crystal package.
Star Wars: Commander is currently running version 2.2.5 and available to play in multiple languages, it requires your device to be running at least iOS 6.0 or later, it can be downloaded from the app store for free with the option to purchase in app content. The game is currently rated four stars with generally favorable reviews by players.
A general rule of thumb that you should stick to in any MMORTS (massively multiplayer online real time simulation) game is concentrating on building up your resources, by doing this in Star War: Commander, you’ll have a massive advantage when working on developing your base, a lot of players typically forget about their resources because they’re all pretty busy enjoying the fighting campaign aspects of the game. However, if you want to have a long term advantage over other player, it’s best to start off the game mainly concentrating on developing your resource buildings first.
You are able to build the Credit Market and Alloy Refinery , it is on these which you should concentrate as they will give you an easy income of resources that you need. You should also take advantage of the fact that when you first start the game, you will have a three day protective shield; it is during this time where you should really work on building up your defenses so that you are safe when your shield goes down leaving you vulnerable to attack from other players.
One of the really great things about this game is the fact that the tutorial is very in depth and gives you a great idea of the general gameplay, it also allows you to experience both The Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance, by offering a peek at both available sides, you are able to make a more informed decision on which side you want to commit to. I also like the fact that Star Wars: Commander offers a great deal of activities to do in game so you rarely run out of things to do. If I get bored with developing, I can take on some missions and work on those, I can train new troops or I can just set my iPad down and let it play the awesome background music.
This game clearly has quite a bit of money invested in it, which definitely sets it apart from other games of its kind, the graphics are near immaculate, the music works perfectly, even the voice acting for the characters isn’t too bad. However, when you do first start, it is extremely slow going, it only speed up when you’re fairly high level. After the first three days are up and your shield is gone, it gets incredibly difficult to properly protect your base, even with fortified walls around it, your base still end up getting ransacked by some other greedy players, it seems that if you really want to protect your base and ensure it doesn’t get completely destroyed, you need to keep a constant eye on the game.
Star wars: Commander is a blatant clone of Clash of Clans with a think covering of the force, perhaps they should rename is Clash of Hans, and put up a welcome banner saying This IS the Clash of Clans clone you are looking for. It is also very difficult to set enemies apart from your troops when in battle since the health bars all look the same, you also can’t zoom in on your battle to get a better idea of what is going on in the fight.
Artwork and Graphics: I give Star Wars: Commander a 9/10 for its artwork and graphics. The artwork and graphics are surprisingly well done for a mobile game; the characters are created staying true to their original movie counterparts. The graphic are shockingly clear which is very interesting for a mobile game. The artwork is beautifully done and makes for a very attractive and visually appealing game.
Music and SFX: I give the game a 9/10 for its music and SFX. The music is spectacularly done and fit in perfectly with a Star wars game, I don’t even have to be playing the game to enjoy it, I could happily just let most of the music become the soundtrack to my life because it make everything seem way more epic. The SFX is also pretty well done; they are somewhat realistic and really add to the ambience of the game.
Story and Originality: I give the game a 7/10 for its story and originality. The story itself has a lot of originality, I love that the storyline happens between movies as it give more of a sense of place in the Star Wars universe. The gameplay itself is not particularly original as there has been an influx of Clash of Clans type games since its popularity and success.
General Gameplay: I give the game a 6/10 for its general gameplay. How to play the game is quickly established in the tutorial which really helps players pick up the general way of life in the game and get into a good routine of what they need to be doing on a daily basis within the game.
Addictiveness: I give the game a 7/10 for its addictiveness. Because there is quite a lot to do in this game, it can grow fairly addictive quickly. This only stops when you absolutely have nothing more to do, this is something that is quickly rectified with push notifications that tell you when something is ready or needs to be done within the game with pushes you to do a quick check on everything then end up spending an hour in the game when you only meant to spend a few minutes on it.
My overall rating for Star Wars: Commander is 8/10.
