Review of Smash Land

You will really enjoy Smash Land because you will firstly notice how good the graphics are, and how well thought out each of the stages are. You will start Smash Land with a couple of heroes, and as you progress through the game, you will be able to unlock and collect even more heroes. Each hero has special abilities and skills, and each one has a special attack that will activate once you get into battle. You will need to go through and figure out the special skills of each hero you have unlocked, because you will need to use some strategy when it comes time to do battle, and you will need to use certain heroes for certain enemies. The layout of the stages of the game are really nice, with unique features to each level, so it’s a good game to play that offers a lot of variety in the scenes and tasks at hand. You might think that this is a simple game, but the characters and special abilities you will need to utilize during each stage really enhances the gameplay and overall interest in the game.

You can go into a multiplayer mode where you will be able to battle against other players of the game, and you can also team up with other players as well. If you team up with other players, you will be given team goals that you will have to complete with the other players, and this brings a lot of fun and social interaction to Smash Land. It’s really nice because you can either choose to battle against the other players or play with them, so you decide whether you want to go through looking for enemies or allies. Even if you don’t know anyone playing the game or don’t have friends who play, you can still find people through the game to play with, and you will then be able to add them to your friends list.

You will really enjoy the combat in this game, since you will need to find the right heroes to beat the enemy, so it’s not like using the same hero over and over will always get you a win. As you unlock more characters, you will find more unique and helpful skills and attacks that they posses, which is needed as you advance through the harder levels of the game. When you first start out, the game mode is really easy, which helps you get used to the attacks and skills that come with your heroes. However, beyond level 15 or 20, you will really need to think about which hero gives you the best chance to win, especially since the enemies will become harder to beat, and also have more skills and attacks to use against you. There are also poisonous spiders, thunderous tree stumps and angry mushrooms in Smash Land, all of which you have to defeat in order to progress through the game. It’s really cool because there are also bee hives which will shoot out a bunch of bees when you hit it, so the variety and unique battles in this game are entertaining.

Overall, while it’s still early on, it’s easy to see this game is very fun and addicting. It’s not too hard of a game, but you will need a good amount of strategy to progress through it decently. You will really love all of the unique heroes you will collect and really enjoy the combat scenes, whether you are trying to kill another character or trying to destroy a beehive. The best part about this game is that you can either play in single-player mode or multiplayer mode, so if you are more anti-social you can still have a blast with this game. It’s also a good game because you don’t need the in-app items to beat the levels, so you don’t feel pressured or duped when it comes to these items.

Graphics: The graphics in Smash Land get an 8/10 because they are really detailed and look 3D, with crisp imagery and animation. You will really love the details in the combat scenes, since it’s easy to read the damage you are doing to your opponent, and you will find yourself amazed at how well everything looks on a mobile device. You will also like how each level or stage of the game has a different design and overall layout, so you will not be bored with the same environment over and over. The graphics are very stunning and unique to what level you are on and the characters you are using, and each hero has special attacks that are also amazing to look at.

Music: The music in Smash Land is very fun and entertaining, but it’s also a little annoying after a while. While you will enjoy the music in the beginning, if you are playing for hours, you will want to turn it off because it can get in the way of thinking strategy. Gameplay gets a 9/10 because you will find yourself having fun during combat, whether you are battling a stump or another player in the online mode. You will enjoy the quality of the gameplay, since you just have to smash your heroes into the enemy, so there is nothing too challenging as far as combat is concerned. While the combat is simple, it’s also very well thought out, especially since the heroes will have attacks and abilities that are unique to them. As you collect more heroes throughout the progression of the game, you will really come to enjoy the variety and special abilities they all have.

Overall: Overall, Smash Land gets a 9/10 because it’s such an entertaining game, without a lot of gore, but with a lot of detailed combat to keep you busy and happy. You will love how smoothly the game transitions to another stage or level, and there is no lag when you are in the middle of combat. You will find yourself enjoying the multiplayer mode, since you can either do group missions or choose to become an enemy and fight the other player. This game is also not that hard, which is a good thing if you are someone that just likes a game where you can enjoy it without really becoming frustrated about how difficult the combat is. This is a game that you will enjoy whether you want to play for an hour or five minutes, because you can put it down or pick it up and keep going. The characters and the level of detail in the animation and graphics, as well as the detail in the abilities make this game one worth downloading. Since the maker of this game also made Clash of Clans, you will be blown away by the level of detail and variety of tasks in this game, and it won’t be a disappointment.
