Developer Glu, known for their successful game release called Deer Hunter 2014 with a whopping fifty million downloads, comes with a new kind of hunting game. This time you won’t be hunting deer or bears, you will be hunting velociraptors and camptosauruses. Imagine being in the movie Jurassic Park, but instead of running away from the dinosaurs, you are actually going to use a wide variety of weapons to hunt them down. Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores has been successfully released, ten million downloads with a rating of 4.2/5 on Android Play Store and a 4.5 star rating on iOS App Store.
Like the name Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores suggests, this game is all about hunting several dinosaur species across multiple missions and areas. You got an energy bar with ten stripes. Stripes can be considered lives. You use one stripe for every hunt you go on. Stripes get replenished every ten minutes with one stripe. You can refill your energy by using ten gold coins. You need to spend one energy stripe per regular hunt and two energy stripes in trophy hunts. After successfully carrying out the hunt, you will gain experience points and eventually level up.
In the beginning the game will have a tutorial which shows you how to play the game, how to properly handle your guns and how to hunt dinosaurs. There are only two types of hunts when you start, hunting series and contract hunt. Contract hunts can be played over and over again, so you can grind for cash doing these. Hunting series are limited and therefor it is not advised to do hunting series to grind for cash. Later in the game you will get trophy hunts and these are usually mandatory to complete before you can get to the next region in the game. When you reach a certain level and region in the game, there will be exotic exclusive hunts in which you need to hunt a rare dinosaur.
Each hunt has its own requirements which you need to meet before you can finish it. Things such as weapon types, weapon powers and weapon add-ons are very important. If you do not meet these requirements, you are unable to finish these hunts. You will need to grind for more coins in contract hunts and buy better weapons or upgrade your already owned weapons to a point where you can finish these hunts.
While each hunt has its own requirements, they also have their own objectives. Objectives for a hunt can be that you need to take out a certain amount of a dinosaur type within a time limit, or killing the dinosaurs by hitting them in a certain organ such as the lungs. After you successfully complete a hunt, you will receive cash which you can use to buy new weapons or upgrade your existing weapons.
From what I have seen, there are four types of weapons in Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores which you can use to hunt dinosaurs. These include rifles, assault rifles, shotguns, bows and exotics. The first four weapon categories are pretty self-explanatory. The exotic weapon category contains weapons such as rocket launchers and laser guns.
Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores is a free-to-play game with an in-game store where you can buy certain things that can further help you with your gameplay. To buy new weapons in the weapons shop, you need to spend gold coins. In order to upgrade the weapons that you own, you need to spend cash. You earn cash by completing hunts and you earn gold coins by leveling up. If you do not have to patience to save up the gold coins and cash required for these things, you can buy them with real money.
You can buy gold coins starting from $4,99 for the smallest pack of 100 gold coins up until $99,99 for the largest pack of 4200 gold coins. You can also buy cash packs starting from $4,99 for the smallest pack of 25.000 up until $99,99 for the largest pack of 700.000
There are also special offer packs which are booster packs filled with goodies. In every pack there is a weapon or multiple weapons, gold coins and cash money. You can buy these packs with gold coins. Special offer packs vary in price from 465 to 2310 gold coins and the contents of the special packs differ from each other.
You can also get free gold coins and cash by watching ad video or doing offers trough SponsorPay which usually involves you downloading other apps and testing them out.

If you was wondering if there are any cheats for Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores, then you probably already googled for them. Unfortunately there are no real cheats for this game. Any website that claims they have a working cheat for you to download, is most likely lying about it. Their download link will refer you to a download site, where you have to fill in a survey in order to download the “cheats”. If you actually do fill in the survey and download the cheat, you will soon find out that you either got lied too, or that you just downloaded a virus onto your computer. My advice to you is just to play the game using the following tips and tricks.
When you start playing Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores, you will soon find out that you need a lot of cash and gold coins to buy new weapons and upgrade them. The best way to grind for cash and gold coins is by taking on contract hunts which are quick missions that often pay out a good sum of cash. Another good way to earn some extra cash is to try to get head shots and lung shots. By doing these you will get a little extra cash at the end of your hunt.
Upgrading your weapon in Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores is very important. You get access to trophy hunts only if your weapons have met certain requirements. The other hunting types can also be extremely difficult if you do not regularly update your weapon. The game will give you a notice if it thinks that your weapon’s firepower should be updated. You should not forget to upgrade your weapon in all of its categories. If you first upgrade its power, next you should upgrade its zoom and ammo capacity, after that you can update its balance and just rinse and repeat. Always spread out your upgrades. You will eventually need to do this or else some of the missions will not be available to you.
Your choice of weaponry is important. Every hunt there are different dinosaurs so certain weapons have a better advantage than others. If for example, you are hunting small and fast dinosaurs, having an assault rifle will come in handy. You can spray fire and most likely hit your targets who are moving in fast towards you. If your targets are big and slow, you might want a weapon which has a powerful kick to it. Or else you will not be able to penetrate it and bring it down.
If you want to play in new regions, you will have to collect map pieces. You collect map pieces by completing trophy hunts and weapon series hunts. After you collect the map pieces, new regions unlock and you can play in them.
In Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores, there are many different dinosaurs to be hunted. Some dinosaurs try to flee when they hear gunshots, other dinosaurs get alarmed and try to attack you. Sometimes it is very difficult to hit a dinosaur who is advancing towards you. My advice is to wait until the dinosaur leaps on you. This will give you enough opportunity to get a clear shot on it, because the time slows down and everything is in slow motion for a few seconds. If you are facing dinosaurs who flee from you when they notice you, you need to take your first shot carefully and precisely. The best way is to hit a vital organ, so that the dinosaur goes down in one hit. Otherwise there is a good chance that the dinosaurs on the seen all flee before you get a good shot on any of them.
The first thing I noticed about this game are the graphics. They are simply gorgeous for a mobile game. From the dinosaur models to the weapon models, it is clear that the developers spend a lot of time on making them as detailed as possible. Once you start the game for the first time, the game will help you with a small tutorial, so you can get used to the gameplay. After a couple of practice hunt, you are now ready to go out on your own and bring down some dinosaurs. Another nice aspect you notice when you play Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores is that the sound effects are of high quality and the soundtracks fit the environment. When you got little velociraptors running at you, roaring at you, you actually get a thrilling feeling because you need to put them down, before they put you down. Overall the gameplay is very nice and detailed. You can buy new weapons and upgrade them to be able to hunt even bigger and stronger dinosaurs. The many choices of weaponry is also a nice touch.
Unfortunately like many free-to-play games, there are also negative aspects of the game which influence the gameplay. For example, you are limited to ten hunts in a row before your energy bar is completely depleted and you either need to wait ten minutes for one energy stripe to be replenished. Of course you can also replenish your energy bar by using gold coins, which you can buy from the in-game store. Weapons and weapon upgrades are pretty expensive as well. It would take ages to collect enough gold coins and cash to actually buy the nicer looking and stronger weapons.
You could always grind for more cash by just repeating certain hunts, but if you do not have the patience nor the time to do this, then you are pretty much stuck with tier one weaponry.
Last but not least, there are also ads in Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores which seem to pop up at the most annoying times when you need to tap on your screen to continue. These ads also seem to stay implemented in the game, even if you make a purchase from the in-game store with real money. This is a big negative aspect because ads can pretty much ruin a game for the gamer.
Artwork: I give Dino Hunter Deadly Shores a 9/10 for its artwork. The graphics are actually pretty great and the 3D detailed dinosaurs and environment really fit in well. The details and amount of weaponry also shows that the developers spend a whole lot of time on the artwork.
Music & SFX: I give the game an 8/10 for its music and SFX. The sound effects and the dinosaur roars are impressive. Everything from the gun shot sound effect to the soundtrack in the main menu is well thought out and implemented pretty good.
Story & Originality: I give Dino Hunter Deadly Shores a 7/10 for its story and originality. Glu already released a hunting game that was praised and downloaded many times, so they lose points on the originality because all they had to do is change from deer and bears to dinosaurs. They still managed to do a great job at that and add more features to the game such as exotic weapons.
General Gameplay: I give the game a 7.5/10 for general gameplay. The gameplay itself is pretty straight forward once you get used to it, but the fact that there are several hunts available and more than enough weapons and upgrades, the gameplay still stays exciting and fresh.
Addictiveness: I give Dino Hunter Deadly Shores a 7/10 for addictiveness. Every hunt you go on feels a bit different because you have different dinosaurs to hunt and different objectives to complete. It is a shame that you are limited to ten energy stripes, which mean you are only able to play ten times in a row until you either have to wait till you got more energy to play more, or replenish your energy bar by paying money.
All things considered, I give Dino Hunter Deadly Shores an 8/10
