Imagine a time where you had to earn gold coins by jousting other knights to the ground, increasing your reputation and where the ultimate goal is to join the King’s tournament. This is exactly what developer Gameloft is bringing to you with Rival Knights. Launching their game on iOS App Store and Google Play Store, Rival Knights is highly acclaimed, popular and highly rated. Downloaded over one million times on Google Play Store with a 4.2/5 rating and a 4.5 star rating on iOS App Store, you could say that I am not exaggerating. Like the game’s name give it away, your objective is to defeat your rivalling knights by beating them off their horse with your lance. You also need to update your gear regularly to be able to defeat higher ranking knights.
You start off Rival Knights with a tutorial where you go to the practice field to start training for the big tournament. You sit on your horse and you start a lance battle. You speed up your horse by tapping at certain correct times indicated on your screen and once you get close to your opponent, you will move your lance down to his weak spot and hit him off his horse to win. This is basically the whole objective of Rival Knights. You beat your opponents, upgrade your gear and repeat.
After beating your opponent, you will see a “Victory screen”. Here you will see how much coins you have earned in this battle, what both yours and your opponents defense, speed in km/h and strength/power ratings were. The tutorial guide will tell you that the king has called a contest for all knights. What you need to know is beat all knights to advance leagues, and end up in the king’s tournament at the end where you have to battle the toughest knights.
To battle a knight, you need to use one royal seal. At the beginning you have six royal seals. These seals replenish themselves one at a time every seven minutes. There are also social seals which you use to battle against your friends. They are called social seals because you will need to use social media like Facebook in order to connect with your friends and battle them. These also replenish over time.
Rival Knights has an in-game store where you can buy coins and gemstones. These can be used for upgrades in the game itself. If you are tired of waiting for your seals to replenish, you can use five gemstones or watch a video ad to get free seals. You can also invite friends as allies’ trough Facebook and Google+, who can provide you with free seals.
What is very striking about Rival Knights is that it features modern visuals, even for a mobile game. Very cool animations for both the knights and horses really suck you into the game. Graphics have a very nice 3D touch and the camera angles lets you see everything that is important in Rival Knights. What I also noticed is that the weather conditions and the time of day chances while you play, which keeps the environment fresh. When I launched my first opponent off his horse and saw the ragdoll physics, I was hooked to this game.
Rival Knights has an in-game store where you can purchase coins and gemstones to gain a huge advantage in the game. With these coins and gemstones you can purchase better armor, helmets, lances and horses and also upgrade them. Another thing you can use these coins and gemstones for is upgrading your gear instantly instead of waiting for them to get upgraded.
Rival Knights uses seals which is kind of like an energy bar. You can replenish your seals by using gemstones. This will allow you continue playing without having to wait for seven minutes per seal to be replenished. Occasionally there will be certain offers in the in-game store. Coin or gemstone packages can get a huge percentage like fifty percent off so I would advise everyone to regularly check the store for good deals.
If you are a fan of the action-packed knight combat game Rival Knights, then you are probably left wondering how you can get gemstones and coins for free. You can get both the coins and gemstones in the App Store, but even just a few purchases can add up to well over $100 depending on the package you purchase.
Most people don’t have this kind of money to spend on a game, which is why we decided to add Rival Knights to our hack tool database. We have the tool, which is available for free on both iOS and Android, and it gives you unlimited amounts of coins and gemstones.
Just check out the image below to see how easy the user interface is to use, with the options menu being the only thing you need to get your unlimited items today for free.
You just need to download the hack from our website, which takes about 35 seconds, and then it will automatically install, and that also takes around 35 seconds. You will then need to select either iOS or Android depending on what device you are using. You can then input the amounts of gemstones and coins you want to add to your account.
Simply click “Start” to begin the hack process, which should take under 1 minute, and then you can load up the Rival Knights as you normally would. This free tool saves you both time and money, and lets you keep playing the game for longer with more enjoyment.
There are several cheats and tips for Rival knights which I am going to tell you about. Some of them are more for late-game, but others can be used right from the start. Since you need to progress in this game by lancing other knights, but you are limited by Royal and Social seals, you should use the following cheats to get around them.
Rival Knights Unlimited Royal Seals Cheat
Royal Seals in Rival Knights serve as an “energy bar”. Without Royal seals, you cannot battle other knights and you will either have to wait for the royal seals to replenish or you buy them with gemstones. Your last option would be to ask your real friends trough Facebook or Google+. In order to save money and time, you could use the time laps cheat on your device. After you have used all your royal seals, you go to your phone settings and set the time forward a couple of hours, which replenishes your seals and voila! You can keep on playing.
Although the developers caught on to this cheat and tried to fix it, it did not really succeed. The developers set up a server which syncs your game time with your devices’ time but it still didn’t solve the problem. You can still use this cheat but instead of forwarding your device time by hours, you should forward it by the amount of time for just one or two royal seals and then bring the time on your device back to the exact time and then just repeat.
Rival Knights Get Free Royal Seals Cheat
If you do not want to use the time lapse cheat as stated above, you can still get free royal seals. A good way to get free royal seals is by adding your Facebook friends and ask them to share their royal seals with you. This would of course work pretty well if you have lots of friends. You could also go around on the Rival Knights Facebook group and add people on there to your friends list and ask them, but this is of course harder because you do not know these people in person and it could be harder to communicate with them instead of your real friends.
Rival Knights Instant Armor Upgrade Cheat
In Rival Knights, when you upgrade your helmet, armor, lance and horse, you need to wait for this upgrade to finish. You could use the same time lapse glitch to upgrade your armor instantly. This cheat will assure you of an instant upgrade, instead of the long wait. The trick here is of course not to forward the time on your device by too much, but gradually, and not to forget to change it back to the exact time it was originally on. You can repeat this cheat as many times as you want.
Rival Knights Farming Gold Cheat
In Rival Knights, you cannot replay battles which you have already won. This makes it more difficult to farm for coins, experience and other resources. There is another way to do this though. In Rival Knights, there is a training option where you can still farm for extra coins. There is an option to change the difficulty in these training battles, the harder the difficulty, the more coins you can get out of winning. Of course if you want to battle in a training session, you also use royal seals but you can replenish these by using the time lapse cheat.
Rival Knights Getting a Perfect Start Tip
By training in the training arena, you can train how to get a perfect start in your battle, which gives you a speed and power bonus. This will assure that your lance hits the other knight with a speed and power bonus and let you hit your opponent with a critical hit. Although getting a perfect start is not easy, with enough practice, you can master this skill and make it easier for yourself to defeat more powerful knights.
If I can be honest, I did not know what to expect when I first downloaded and installed Rival Knights. I first thought it would be another one of those generic cash grabs but I was totally wrong. Like many games, Rival Knights starts off with a tutorial where you get told about the basics of the game. You will learn what the objective of the game is and learn how to properly battle other knights.
The game mechanics are well thought out as it is easy to get a hang of how to play the game. The more you progress through the game, the harder your opponents become. I am very pleased with the graphics and animations, it is very easy on the eyes and suits the medieval theme well. The weather conditions and time of day changes while you are playing is also a very nice add-on which you will not see often in many mobile games. The fact that you can lance your opponents and making them become a flying ragdoll also is very funny and a cool sight to see.
Another nice touch to Rival Knights is the fact that you can play with your friends by connecting trough Facebook or Google+. This will allow you to battle your friends or ask them for seals as a favor so you can keep on playing without having to wait.
The fact that you have to wait is actually one of the only downsides of Rival Knights. While it is understandable that the developers try to make money by giving you an option to instantly replenish your seals so you do not have to wait, it can still get pretty annoying, especially if you do not have the patience and the funds to spend money on this game.
Like many games, Rival Knights can get a bit repetitive later on in the game since the only thing you are doing is battling knights and upgrading your gear, rinse and repeat. But the developers did a good job by adding Facebook and Google+ support to their game because it is more fun to play against your friends than it is to play against NPC knights.
Artwork: I give Rival Knights a 9/10 for its artwork. You can clearly tell that the developers spend much time on creating the graphics and artwork for this game and they should be praised for it. The knight’s armor is shiny and detailed, the colors that are used are light and pleasing.
Music & SFX: I give the game a 7/10 for its music and SFX. The music is easy on the ears and fits the whole medieval knight theme. The sound effects are pretty nice, for example, when you hit a knight with your lance, or the victory sound effect.
Story & Originality: I give the game a 9/10 for its story and originality. If I can be totally honest, I never played a game like Rival Knights before, where you earn points by battling other knights. The story behind it is pretty nice too. You battle your way from the bottom to the top, each step becoming more difficult.
General Gameplay: I Rival Knights a 7/10 for general gameplay. Once you get through the tutorial, the game gets pretty straight forward. The fact that you can connect with your Facebook or Google+ to battle your own friends is a very nice touch to the game. Who wouldn’t want to show their friends who is the better knight? Especially if you can lance them right in the face!
Addictiveness: I give Rival Knights a 6/10 for addictiveness. The game can get pretty addictive, especially if you play against your friends. Unfortunately you are limited by Royal and Social seals which make you take a break because it takes time for them to get added back. You could of course buy more seals so you would not have to wait to battle the next knight but this can get very costly if you simply want to play the game and progress.
All things considered, I give Rival Knights a 7.5/10
