It’s not easy being shot out of a cannon and have the expectation of bouncing off on as many possible objects as possible on your way down. This casual time killer game is designed just for that very reason. With a lot of levels to play through and a lot of objectives to complete, game developer King added yet another successful mobile game to their collection. Papa Pear Saga has been downloaded over ten million times with a rating of 4.1 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a rating of 4 stars on iOS App Store.
The goal of Papa Pear Saga is pretty simple, yet it can be very hard to achieve especially in later levels in the game. There is a cannon in the middle top of the screen and from this cannon you need to shoot individual Papa Pears down to the objects and make sure to let them bounce off them many times before they fall into the colored pots at the bottom. By letting the Papa Pears bounce off objects, you earn points which will be added together. If you have enough points, you complete the level and continue to the next one. While this all may sound pretty easy to do, it will get much harder the further you get on the world map.
There is a several different objectives that can be implemented into a level, for example in some levels you need to get a certain amount of points before you run out of Papa Pears, but in other levels you need to shoot down big fruits from their platforms and make sure they fall into the pots at the bottom. For this, you also have a limited amount of Papa Pears, so you need to be tactical and shoot with precision. You can shoot the cannon in any angle downwards and your shot can either be fast or slow, depending how long the line is that you draw from it. Some objectives require a soft shot from the cannon in order for you to be able to make that angle.
You can earn up to three stars for each level and the amount of stars you earn depends on the amount of points you have earned. You need a minimum of one star to be able to go to the next level, but having more stars is of course better because you will have a higher score. If you do not complete the objective of a level, you can either choose to play further by paying nineteen gold bars which will give you three extra Papa Pears, or you can end the game and start over which costs you a life.
If you like a challenge, you can connect to Papa Pear Saga with your Facebook account. This way you can play with your friends and see their high scores. Connecting with Facebook has another advantage because you will be able to ask your friends for lives when you run out of them.
In Papa Pear Saga you have five lives in total. Every time you do not complete the objectives of a level, you will lose a life. You either need to wait for your lives to replenish themselves which happens every ten minutes or you can buy a full set of lives by spending twelve gold bars. You can also ask your friends to send you some lives so you can continue playing, but you will need to be connected with your Facebook.
Papa Pear Saga In-game store
This game has a premium currency in the form of gold bars. With these gold bars you can do a couple of things that can give you an advantage in Papa Pear Saga. The first thing that you can do with gold bars is replenishing your lives. In Papa Pear Saga, you have a total of five lives and when you run out of them, you either need to wait or you can spend gold bars to replenish hem right away. You can also use gold bars to continue a level if you have failed to complete the objective that is set in that level. You will get extra Papa Pears to shoot from your cannon.
Prices for gold bars vary from $1,99 for the smallest package of 20 gold bars up till $99,99 for the largest package of 1100 gold bars. Buying larger packages usually gives you a few gold bars for free.
There are also boosters in Papa Pear Saga, but from what I can tell, you can only unlock and earn them by playing the game instead of being able to purchase them with gold bars or real money.
Are you sitting at home right now playing King’s new addictive game Papa Pear Saga? If so, then you know that you are going to need a lot of lives to get through the levels, and gold bars to get the extra items in the game. The bad part is, these items cost real money through the app store, and this really adds up. Due to the popularity of this game, AppGameCheats has put out a free hack tool, which you can use on both Android and iOS to get unlimited amounts of lives and gold bars for free.
Look at the picture below to see how the Papa Pear Saga hack generator options menu is setup, which is really easy to use.
Simply download the Papa Pear Saga hack tool, which takes about 20 seconds, and the hack generator automatically installs, which also takes about 30 seconds. The speeds for both the download and install however do depend on your internet connection. Next, choose which device you are using, either iOS or Android, and then type in how many lives and gold bars you want to add to your Papa Pear Saga game account.
Lastly, tap “Start” to begin the hack tool when you are ready, which takes about 45 seconds to finish. Once the tool has finished working, all you have to do is open up Papa Pear Saga on your device, and you will see that the items have been added to your account. You can then use these items to help you beat the levels, and you can come back and use the hack tool as often as you want.
I have come across a few websites that claimed they have a hack for Papa Pear Saga. These hacks allegedly could inject gold bars and lives into your game so you could play as you pleased. Some of these hacks were on the websites, and others you needed to download. I tested out a hack that was already implemented into the website itself but I could tell right away that it was nothing but an empty shell. You could fill in the amount of gold bars and lives that you wanted, your username where the gold bars and lives should go to and the server you were playing on. After that a progress bar started to go up until 99% and stop, telling you that you need to be validated to check if you are human or a bot. This validation required you to fill in a survey and this survey is nothing but an income source for these fake websites. It is simply the fact that there are no cheats for Papa Pear Saga, so instead of searching for cheats and hacks, I will give you some tips and tricks you can use in your gameplay.
There are levels in Papa Pear Saga where all you need to do is get a certain amount of points but also drop a Papa Pear in every pot at the bottom, giving them a color. The best way to do this is to try to earn as many points as possible at the beginning, clearing the objects away that are standing between you and the pans. After you have done this, it is easier to aim and shoot Papa Pears into the pans and successfully complete the level.
You can shoot three Papa Pears at the same time but I would advise everyone to not do this in a fast pace after each other. The first Papa Pear could take all the points and the second and third Papa Pear just miss every object because the way is already cleared. This will make you get less points during the level and can even cause you not to be able to complete the level at all. Before you start shooting your cannon, look around what the most unreachable pan is located and try to go for that one first. After you have given that pan a color by shooting a Papa Pear in it, you can start aiming for the more easily reachable pans.
Try to get bonuses by completing certain objects. Bonuses can increase your score significantly. You will also earn more points by trying to get your Papa Pear to bounce of a lot of objects before falling down in a pan. You can compare it to a pinball machine. The more you bounce off things, the more points you score. You will also get 500 points if you are able to bounce a Papa Pear against the ceiling of the level. If you can shoot a pear directly into a pan, you will receive 1000 points.
You will receive boosters the further you progress through Papa Pear Saga. Boosters include Papa Grande, which makes your pear significantly bigger. You will be able to hit many more objects and bounce off them slower. Papa Fire will change your Papa Pear into a fireball, which can burn right through objects. Split Papa will split up your pear into two pears and last but not least the Light Up booster. With this booster, you can instantly color a pan which is still grey. This will be done randomly which means you cannot pick the pan that will be colored.
Game developer King is well known for its successful releases such as Candy Crush Saga and many other casual puzzle games. When I downloaded Papa Pear Saga, I had an idea that it would be a casual puzzle game. While it had many same ideas implemented in its gameplay, such as the world map, the objectives in its levels and the lives, it was still a pretty fun game to play. The game started off with a tutorial, teaching you the basics of Papa Pear Saga. After you have completed the tutorial, you are able to progress through the world map. The first few levels are pretty easy and gives you enough time to practice your shooting. Every level has an objective which you need to complete before you can go on to the next level. That’s basically all there is to it.
You can add a bit more of a challenge to Papa Pear Saga by connecting with your Facebook. This way you can challenge your friends and other players and see who is able to get the highest score between all of you. Connecting with Facebook also gives you the ability to ask your friends for lives. Another positive aspect is that there are no advertisements in Papa Pear Saga. Many free-to-play games implement ads in a very annoying and obstructive way, there for it’s a good thing that game developer King decided not to implement ads at all in Papa Pear Saga.
While the game itself is pretty good, there are a few negative aspects that ruined the gameplay for me. For starters, you only have five lives. If you fail to complete a level, you will lose one of your lives. Once you are out of lives, you need to wait ten minutes for one life to replenish or you need to spend money on the game to replenish them automatically. The fact that you need to wait is the most annoying part. Sometimes you just want to kill some time, but Papa Pear Saga is just not the game to do this with. Your playtime gets limited because of these lives.
Another negative aspect I experienced during my gameplay is that late-game levels seem to be excessively hard to complete. It feels like the developers did this on purpose so that you are forced to pay real money to get the much needed boost. Of course you can chose to wait and let your lives replenish on their own, but many people just do not have the patience for that.
Artwork: I give Papa Pear Saga a 7/10 for its artwork. The graphics and animations in Papa Pear Saga are cartoonish and fit the theme of the game well. The attention for detail and effects is also a nice tough. When make big combos, there will be some nice effects and at the end of the level, if you successfully completed the objective, there will be a “Papa Fiesta” light show and fireworks which gives you a satisfactory feeling.
Music & SFX: I give Papa Pear Saga a 7/10 for its music and SFX. There is a nice soundtrack in the background when you are in the world map, which gives Papa Pear Saga a nice cartoonish vibe. During gameplay you will hear a lot of sound effects which are implemented in the game very well. Sound effects such as a Papa Pear bouncing off an object or going into a pan. If you successfully complete a level, there will be a “Papa Fiesta” which is a nice light show with a good soundtrack/effect. I think the developers did a good job and balanced the soundtracks and sound effects perfectly.
Story & Originality: I give Papa Pear Saga a 3/10 for its story and originality. It is well know that game developer King takes ideas from its own games and other games and just rehashes out new games. Unfortunately this is also the fact with Papa Pear Saga. The gameplay might be a bit original but other than that, there is not much to it. There is no story nor a real purpose to the game. All you have to do is shoot Papa Pears out of your cannon and get as many points as possible while the levels are getting significantly harder.
General Gameplay: I give Papa Pear Saga an 8/10 for general gameplay. While the game did lack originality and a story, the general gameplay was still pretty good. The tutorial explained nicely what you had to do and how to do it and after that you could basically play the game without facing any trouble. The fact that you can connect with your Facebook adds a nice challenge to the gameplay because you can compete with your friends for the highest score.
Addictiveness: I give Papa Pear Saga a 5/10 for addictiveness. Like many if not all of developer King’s games, this game also had a life limitation in it. You have five lives and when you lose all of them, you either have to wait a while for them to replenish or you can spend real money to replenish them right away. This makes Papa Pear Saga feel more like a cash grab instead of a casual time killer. This is very unfortunate because the general gameplay of this game was pretty good considering the limitations.
All things considered, I give Papa Pear Saga a 6/10.
