Do you like time management games? Well game developer Glu got just the game for you. Diner Dash which is a time management game set in a restaurant. In this game you are a woman called Flo who needs to serve her customers at a fast pace in order to keep them happy. At this moment it is downloaded over five million times with a rating of 4.0/5 on Google Play Store and a 4.5 star rating on iOS App Store.
The story of the game is that you are renting a restaurant and your landlord is hassling you about monthly rents. He apparently is a bully and cannot wait for the day that you can’t pay the rent so he can kick you out to the curb.
You play as the server/waitress in a restaurant. You seat people down at their table, wait for them to make up their mind about their order. You can score extra points by matching a color. So the clothes of the customers should match the seats you put them at. Pick up their order and bring it to the kitchen. The chef/cook prepares the food and once it is finished, you take the food platters and bring them to the tables. After your customers have eaten, you pick up their checks and clean up their tables by taking their dishes and bringing them to the kitchen to be washed.
Every level has its own goal. You must complete this goal in order to get to the next level. Upon completing a level, you receive coins and dinero and if you have done well, you can receive an energy bolt. Dinero is the in-game currency which allow you to purchase appliances for your kitchen. You got three energy bolts in Diner Dash. Every time you play a level, you lose an energy bolt. It takes thirty minutes for one energy bolt to replenish. Alternatively you can connect trough Facebook and ask your friends for free energy bolts.
You can buy new kitchen appliances and also upgrade them later on in the game. The first thing you buy is a coffeemaker which will keep customers happy. Customers have three hearts when they enter your restaurant. These three hearts represent how happy they are. Once you are too slow, they start losing hearts. There are achievements in Diner Dash, which upon completion, rewards you with either coins or dinero and sometimes even boosters.
Ultimately your goal in Diner Dash is to be quick on your feet and be able to help all your customers out as fast as possible so they remain happy. By doing so you will assure yourself of the highest amount of points that you can score on that particular level and the rewards that you get at the end will also be better than when you for example, fail to serve a group of customers, or a group of customers are grumpy with you.
Diner Dash In-game store
Diner Dash is a free-to-play game with an in-game currency called dinero. Dinero are used to buy appliances for your restaurant. There are also coins which can be used for the same thing. You can purchase dinero and cash packages in the Diner Dash in-game store. Buying dinero will give you a huge advantage because you can buy many kitchen appliances early on in the game, which will make it way easier to complete the goals in every level.
There are many dinero packages which you can purchase. The prices vary from $0,99 for the smallest package of 10 dinero to $89,99 for the largest pack of 1875 dinero. There are also a few coin packages for sale. The prices for coins vary between $0,99 for 1000 coins to $9,99 for 14.000 coins.
You can earn free dinero by watching an ad video or completing offers such as downloading other apps and testing them out. The amount of dinero you get depends on the app you download.
Diner Dash is a really fun game that you can play on Android and iOS, but if you are playing Diner Dash you will notice that you need to have a lot of coins, dinero, tips, and energy to really get the most out of the game. One negative part about this is that the coins, tips, energy and dinero you can get in the app store require you to pay real money to purchase them, and this is too expensive to do often. We have a free hack tool that gives you these items for free, and this tool is safe for iOS and Android devices.
Look at the image below to see what the hack tool looks like, and you will notice that the options menu is really easy to understand and setup to input how many of each you want.
Simply download the free hack tool for Diner Dash right here, which takes around 30 seconds to download, and then it will automatically install. Once it installs, which takes about 45 seconds, you will need to pick either Android or iOS depending on which device you are using. Once you pick the device you are using, then you can input the amounts of coins, dinero, tips, and energy that you want to add to your account.
Tap “Start” when you are ready to begin the Diner Dash hack, which takes less than 40 seconds to complete. Once this hack tool is done, you can then open up the app on your device, and you will notice that the coins, dinero, tips, and energy are already added to your account for free. Using the Diner Dash hack gives you all of these items for free as many times as you want without spending a dollar in the app store.
There are many websites out there that claim they have cheats for Diner Dash, and all you need to do is click on the download link and fill in a survey to get it. These websites are just a cash grab. They will make you will in the survey they give you, which makes them earn money and after that you will get to download a file which is most likely a virus or a fake cheat file. Be aware of websites like this if you value the contents of your personal computer.
I will give you guys and girls a few tips and tricks which you can apply to your gameplay on Diner Dash. This will give you a big advantage and make it easier for you to earn more coins.
One of the very first things you learn when you play Diner Dash is that the customers are wearing colored clothing and the seats in your restaurant also have a color. You earn a lot of points if you are able to match the customers’ clothes with the color of their seats. Sometimes a group of customers have different colored clothing on, but even if you just match one color with a seat, you earn extra points.
After you have seated your customers, it is important to be able to do more than one thing at a time. You need to “chain” your actions so you can earn as many points as possible. A way to do this is by first seating all the customers, after that take all their orders and serve them all their food at the same time. One last thing to remember is that different customers have different moods. Some customers are patient and will wait for their order, others want to be served faster. You also need to be careful for “special” customers like Shakes who is a coffee addict, and Barb who is a businesswoman and gets impatient more quickly than others.
Every level in Diner Dash has its own goal. It does not matter how many points you score in a level, if you do not complete the goal, you will fail the level and have to repeat it. You should therefor always pay attention to the goals before you start a level. Once you have started a level, pay attention to not sit a group of two customers at a table for four. This will slow down your process. Everything will be delayed because now you need to wait for a table with four seats to empty out. When your customers get irritated, you can give them coffee. Coffee makes them happy and patient. They will also refill any hearts they have lost while they had to wait.
By now you probably learned that dinero is your in-game currency. You do not earn it easily by just playing the game. If you find yourself in need of some dinero, you can always watch some advertisement videos or complete offers which will grant you some. You should try to invest your dinero in kitchen upgrades, especially in appliances like a better coffee machine.
I was pleasantly surprised by the graphics and sound effects in Diner Dash. The graphics and artwork are in a cartoonish style, which fits the whole theme of time management game. The sound effects and soundtrack fit very well together. The mechanics of Diner Dash also works pretty well too. When you start the game for the first time, you will be helped out with a small tutorial. The tutorial shows you the ins and outs of the game and helps you on your way. The gameplay itself is pretty easier and straight forward, even so that a casual mobile gamer could get into this game with ease. What I found very nice was the fact that during your gameplay in a level, Flo, the customers and even the chef have little idle animations, which really add a nice atmosphere to the game. After you have played and completed a couple of levels, you will have enough dinero to buy new kitchen appliances such as a coffee machine, to keep your customers happy at all times.
I had a few bad experiences with Diner Dash itself. While the game is a great time killer and is actually pretty entertaining, this gets ruined by having an energy bar with only three energy bolts. You can only play three levels at a time and after that you need to wait an hour and a half for your energy bar to refill. You can spend in-game currency to fill up your energy bar but if you are out of currency, you are out of luck. You either need to pay real money to get more in-game currency or you need to ask your Facebook friends to spare you some free bolts.
I think it is normal that free-to-play games have an in-game store and advertisements, but Diner Dash takes the cake with this one. After you complete a couple of levels, you will face a video advertisement which most of the time you can’t even skip. This really disturbed me as I had to sit and look at a twenty seconds long video in order to just simply play more Diner Dash. This was a very big turn off from the game for me and I have no doubt for many others as well.
A last negative aspect would be that many appliances become very expensive to buy and to upgrade in late game. This is kind of like the developers of this game want to force you into buying in-game currency to further your gameplay. Like I stated before, I do not mind if a free-to-play game has an in-game store, but you simply cannot expect everyone to buy some currency with real money, in order to be able to progress through the game.
Artwork: I give Diner Dash an 8/10 for its artwork. The artwork is cartoonish which is really nice. Even though it is cartoonish, the characters and environment are clear and detailed. The colors that are used are cheerful and fits the theme. Even the customers and the chef makes idle movements which is a nice touch to the game.
Music & SFX: I give Diner Dash a 7/10 for its music and SFX. Just like the artwork, the music and SFX are cartoonish and very fitting to the theme. The world map soundtrack is mysterious and thrilling. The SFX in the level itself are clear and are easy on the ears.
Story & Originality: I give the game a 6/10 for its story and originality. Games such as Diner Dash are just hashed out ideas that are being used over and over again. You can see maybe a dozen more games such as Diner Dash in the app stores. Diner Dash did take this idea and brought it to a new level. There is a story behind the game and therefor even if it the game idea is not original, the store still makes up for it.
General Gameplay: I give the game an 8/10 for general gameplay. You get a nice little tutorial at the beginning of your gameplay, which explains everything nicely. Every level of the game has a different goal which you need to complete. The game mechanics work well and movements are easy to follow, even on a small smartphone screen. You can connect with your Facebook friends and compete for the highest score if you like the challenge.
Addictiveness: I give Diner Dash a 6/10 for addictiveness. Even though Diner Dash feels like it is a time killer game, sometimes it does suck you in. You want to get better, earn more coins, buy nice appliances for your kitchen etc. It is a shame you only have three energy bolts which kind of blocks your progress if you do not spend real money on the game. You either have to wait ninety minutes for your three energy bolts to replenish or you need to replenish them with dinero or coins.
All things considered, I give Diner Dash a 7/10
