Implosion – Never Lose Hope, which will be further referred to as simply Implosion, is a hack and slash type of game that outshines any other mobile game of this genre that I’ve played. The game is made by Rayark Inc and has impressive graphics to add to the amazing gameplay that this game has to offer. While the game is about a 1GB download it is worth the time to wait. While the game happens to be free on Android, the game will cost you about ten dollars on iOS if you choose to download it. The game has great ratings on both of the pages and I hoped that it would live up to all the hype it had in the comments.
In Implosion you are a human within a giant mech suit and your goal is to defeat enemies and keep yourself alive as long as possible. Equipped with a massive sword, a gun, and plenty of different moves you can use to slay enemies this game rarely has a dull moment in it. The average monster you find along the missions are basically mutants, aliens, and they don’t prove to be too much of a hassle for you once you learn how to use your sword or gun well. As you progress you’ll run into mini-boss like monsters that actually tend to put up a bit of a fight in comparison to the average monster. The mini-bosses may take a little bit of skill and a tad bit more planning but you can most likely get away with the standard mashing of the attack button which I’m sure many people do in this game. You will earn combos by spacing your basic attacks out at different times. Mashing the basic attacks over and over again will work for most of the smaller monsters but when it comes to mini-bosses it may be a bit harder to do.
The controls, as previously mentioned in the last section, are quite well done and simplistic for the detail the game has. The game decides to go with the two thumb sort of layout that a lot of games have adopted and I for one think it’s the most optimal for a game like this. This simply means that you will never need to use your two thumbs and not worry about other buttons needing to be pressed. This is a relaxing state for your hands to sit at and it helps out with playing a game like this. The basics of this game are the left side of your screen, the empty side of the screen, will be used for movement and the game is very receptive to your movements. The right side of the screen, the side with the multi button layout, is used to basic attack and to perform the special moves you have access to. Each of these special moves have a cool down timer and don’t let you just spam them over and over. Those are the only buttons you have to use in game really.
So as previously mentioned there is a decently high price to pay if you would like this game on an Apple device. The good thing is that the entry fee you pay is the only thing you’ll have to pay throughout the entire game. There are no in app purchases to be made nor are there any things to be forced upon you in game. The lack of in app purchases is always a plus for me and I see this as a chance to simply enjoy the game and not need to worry about paying for things within game to even progress through levels.
If you are playing Implosion-Never Lose Hope, then you know that there are in-game items you can purchase to help you and also items you need for upgrades. These items include experience, money, and badges, but these purchases cost real money, and this gets expensive really quickly. This is why AppGameCheats has put out a free hack tool, which you can use to get unlimited amounts of money, badges, and experience.
Simply check out the picture featured below to see how the Implosion-Never Lose Hope hack works, with the options menu being where you input the amounts of each item you want.
If you would like to get unlimited amounts of these items, all you need to do is download the Implosion-Never Lose Hope hack tool, which takes about 30 seconds, and it automatically installs, which also takes about 30 seconds. You will need to choose which device you are using, either iOS or Android, and then input how many of each item you want to add to your gaming account.
Click “Start” to begin the hack generator once you are ready, which takes aroudn 45 seconds to complete. Once the tool has finished working, all you have to do is open up Implosion-Never Lose Hope on your device, and you will see that the items have been added to your account. You can then use these items to help you through the game, and you can come back and use the hack tool as many times as you would like for free.
Get a good grip of the controls and just test out different combos and make sure you know where and when to dodge. The dodge button comes in handy more than you would think and lets you evade certain attacks and ultimately save you in the long run. On your button layout there will be a small button at the bottom left that lets you dodge – don’t forget about it! Alongside knowing that you should understand that timing is everything when it comes to combos in this game. Get down the combos, or a basic idea of them, and work around that to find your own play style that works out for you. Don’t just spam because it leads to a bad habit and that won’t get you very far or allow you to have a lot of fun.
Now there’s something called the ARK system and it really isn’t that easy to explain in a short passage. This menu allows you to use the new items that you’ve looted throughout the levels and without using this you’ll have quite a few problems continuing. You can tap on any of the circles to check out your current loadout and see what you can equip to help yourself. This menu gives you plenty of variety to play around with and makes the game a bit more diverse then you would imagine from a mobile hack and slash game. Things you buy from the store will also show up here so make sure to check the ARK system every once and a while to make sure you have the most up to date gear on.
Badges are an added incentive to the game and also allow for you to earn rewards while you challenge yourself at the same time. You gain these badges by beating levels under a certain condition that the game has already created for you. With these badges come rewards and in the ARK system you can check the rewards you can currently collect. Make sure you decide wisely because for a certain badge you may have several options to choose from and there may be better ones than the first one you see. Overall these badges greatly improve your gameplay and are a good boost for you. Go ahead and try them out to see how well you do, you can always come back to it later if you fail at them.
As far as hack and slash games go this game does a great job at making itself stand out from other mobile games and I quite enjoy how they’ve done it. With intuitive gameplay and a decent level system there is a lot to gain from playing a lot of levels in the game. Each level feels rewarding as you earn money and experience at the end of each level and randomly throughout it as well. Implosion takes the classic hack and slash game type and ports it over to mobile with more success than some PC games can even do. With simplistic controls and a great combat system Implosion makes itself stand out in the sea of hack and slash games that have become more and more popular over the years. With several separate campaigns to play this game is by far the best hack and slash game I’ve seen on the mobile market and that’s why they can justify the $10 price tag for iOS users. Luckily I have an Android phone and the game was free but I wouldn’t have cared if I had to pay for it.
The graphics and sound effects in the game are really nothing to dismiss and they both greatly add to the game and how it plays out. Each bit of the level is detailed well and not a single part seems lazily done at any time. The storyline really doesn’t impress me and it doesn’t need to really. The game speaks for itself and hack and slash games aren’t really notorious for their complex storyline and intricate character detail. The fact that the sound of the attacks usually drown out any sort of dialog that even attempts to make its way past the wall of sound this game produces. This isn’t too big of a deal because the sounds that this game does have are very crisp and fit the type of gameplay perfectly. The volume is some I wish I could change to allow myself to hear the characters speaking at times but sadly there are not separate volume controls for the voices and such. You can always read the subtitles that come up on the screen but that distracts you from fighting at times and I would rather enjoy the battling aspect over the storyline any time in a game like this.
Overall Implosion is a game that promised a console quality game and they have held up to that promise and then some. A well done futuristic game like this with the amount of customization that it has is hard to find on mobile and I commend Rayark, the company who made this game, for the effort put into the game and how well it plays considering the limitations it has. With its simple but at time very complex mechanics gives the game a casual feel while still allowing for a more serious style of gameplay in which you aim to get every badge and take everything more serious compared to button mashing. The storyline to the game is alright and allows for the game to at least flow well enough to where it doesn’t seem choppy between stages but it’s nothing to write home about if I’m being honest.
The fact that you go along and unlock everything yourself is very rewarding and the lack of in app purchases is a blessing. A lot of games would have been exactly like this but filled with purchases to be made and the fact they didn’t do it to this game was a great change of pace. The game is really a must download for any Android user and something you should surely look into for an iOS user – assuming you like these types of games and have some time to sink into the game.
Artwork and SFX: The artwork for this game is borderline, if not, console quality and I believe that the fact they put that much effort into the graphics alone makes the game worth checking out just for that reason. Everything is sharply modeled and nothing seems out of place with a blurry design or poorly made 3D model. The environment you’re placed in is futuristic and they cover that aspect better than a lot of games do without overdoing it entirely. The sounds are a bit iffy for me and that’s because of the fact that they override the voice acting at times and makes the storyline a bit less easy to follow unless you read subtitles. On the other hand the music in the game is brilliant and matches the games aesthetic qualities. They did a great job in both of these aspects and the only thing I could ask for is a volume control to tune down the sounds of combat. Implosion gets an 8/10 for its artwork and SFX.
Gameplay: The controls in the game are very simple and leave you to craft your own method of attacking whether that be to just spam basic attacks or to figure out some different combos that work well and going with that. It doesn’t matter how you play really, so long as you’re having fun in the game. The added special abilities are a great touch and make the game a bit more diverse than a hack and slash with no variety to it. The levels are each different in their own way and they benefit from that as you progress you won’t find yourself bored at all really. The addition of bosses and mini-bosses also make me want to continue to see if I can beat each one or if I come to a place where I can’t keep beating the bosses. I give Implosion a 9/10 for its gameplay and features.
Addictiveness: Implosion is a game that for sure has addictive qualities and does manage to rope you in with different upgrades and further expanding levels that don’t ever seem to get repetitive to me. If you are somebody who wants a challenge then this game will for sure be addictive to you. Getting all the badges and making yourself as powerful as possible will cost you a lot of time in this game but it does seem worth it to me. I feel as if I will be playing this more and I’m not so sure how addicted I’ll be because of not having ample amounts of free time. I would play this game a lot given the chance and I would imagine a lot of people feel the same way and may even have stronger feelings for this game. Implosion gets a solid 8/10 for addictiveness in general.
Overall Implosion has great gameplay and controls that don’t overwhelm the user at first glance. The game is well made and not filled with pay to win aspects. All of those things put together makes me want to give Implosion a 9/10 rating and I do believe it deserves it for how well it plays as a mobile game. Make sure to check the game out if you have an Android phone and give it a look for iOS users and determine if you want it. I for one would pay the money for it because it plays at a console level and costs much less – plus its portable!
