The storyline of Shark Dash is that you have to defend your precious bathtub from the evil invading duckies! You are playing with Sharkee and his merry friends of toy sharks in the bathtub, when a bunch of mischievous ducks came into their peaceful life and ruined it. These ducks are teasing the sharks and playing pranks on them. Due to the cheap chemicals they were made from, the ducks are described to be a bit “loopy”. You will go onto an epic journey, taken place in the bathtub, where you go around the world to get rid of these ducks from your bath!
You will go on a wild adventure in this bathtub with Sharkee, the fearless leader and hero of the plastic sharks! Besides Sharkee, you will also meet Sawy, Hammy, and Scuby. Sawy has an incredible nose that can cut chains and drop heavy objects on the teasing duckies! Hammy is the shark who can do a “slash jump” where he can leap through the air and hit ducks from impossible angles! While Scuby is Sharkee’s twin brother he’s a very calm and meditative toy who takes out the ducks, no matter where they hide! If you collect enough coins, then you can upgrade the appearance of this group of sharks with cool new skins for them!

I really enjoyed the overall gameplay of this game. I experienced no lag or found any bugs or glitches. What made me attracted to this game in the first place was the cute and vibrant artwork. It reminded me of one of the old cartoons I used to watch on TV and it made me reminiscent the old times. The colors the game developers choose for Shark Dash was also very smart. All these colors are relatable and can be found anywhere, while yellow is rarely used in a game, it pops out under the blue and makes it easy to spot for miles away!
The music in this game was very soothing and relaxing. I would love to listen to the background music of Shark Dash while I’m bathing someday. This is because it brings a nice upbeat feeling, while also an optimistic and fun emotion through its background sound. The SFX of Shark Dash was one of a kind, I could not get over how cute the ducks sounded in this game! One of the best features I liked about this game is that it doesn’t just take place in one setting, you can travel to several other places that you’ve never been before! Have you ever wondered what other peoples bathrooms looked like? Well maybe not, but in Shark Dash, you have the chance to see the many different types of bathrooms as well as solve fun, yet difficult puzzles! Although the last places you would ever want to travel to are people’s bathrooms, this game really brings out the quirkiness and brings new light to bathtubs in Shark Dash! There are more things to do in the bathtub than just taking a bath, for example, your bath toys fighting for they’re territories!
Through Shark Dash, I’ve seen another side of sharks! They are kind, yet funny, and also very caring animals. People usually see them as bad animals because they are dangerous animals. But sharks are really exotic and normal animals once we get to know more about them. If you would like to know more about sharks and see the epic war between shark’s vs ducks, as well as go on an amazing adventure from Rome to Japan, then you should play Shark Dash!

The main color palette in Shark Dash are blue and yellow. These two colors work really well together, along with the game design. The game design takes place in a bathtub along with the pipes. The pipes are see through and they are very classic. It makes the whole game of Shark Dash very simplistic, and fun to play! For this reason, Shark Dash deserves this rating of 8/10!
Music & SFX: In Shark Dash, the music and SFX receives a rating of 8/10. I give Shark Dash a rating of 8/10 because the music is very charming and relaxing. It really makes you feel at ease, and if you are taking a bath, you would love to hear this background music. While there aren’t a lot of variety in the background music, the SFX in Shark Dash is very fun to hear. There are a lot of special sounds that pop out and as you play Shark Dash for longer times, you don’t even need to look up to know what has happened during gameplay. The background music and SFX furthermore, matches in sync with the cute theme of Shark Dash. For both these categories, it is already very worthwhile to play Shark Dash just for these two reasons alone.
Story & Originality: The story and originality in Shark Dash receives a rating of 9/10. I really liked the storyline of Shark Dash because no other games has features bath toys and sharks as the main protagonist. Oftentimes, sharks are the antagonist and are seen as the bad guys. But in Shark Dash, you will sympathize and grow to love Sharkee and his crew. They all look friendly and really cute, while although the ducks do not look mean at all, they were mean for playing pranks and laughing at the sharks! The game levels throughout Shark Dash also increases as you play. This game is very fun to play whether or not you want to challenge yourself or just have a great time.
General Gameplay: The general gameplay of Shark Dash deserves a rating of 10/10. During the times I’ve played Shark Dash, there was no bug or glitches. No other people reported glitches or bugs in Shark Dash either. Therefore, the general gameplay of Shark Dash is very smooth and was enjoyable. There was no lag, and no fading or disappearing music and artwork.
Addictiveness: The addictiveness factor in Shark Dash receives a rating of 8/10. I give this a slightly lower rating because although the graphics, the music, as well as the general gameplay had no problems and are supreme, because some of the levels are very hard and you are not able to continue playing if you do not have enough coins, this makes it hard for one to be addicted. In order for one to be addicted, the game has to be playable to all and also allow some game tips or advice to advance through, while there was no game guides or walkthroughs for Shark Dash, it made it hard for people who were just playing this for fun to advance. Once they couldn’t get pass a certain level after trying several times, they just didn’t pick up Shark Dash anymore.
The overall rating for Shark Dash is an 8/10 rating. I give Shark Dash a rating of 8/10 because after considering all the factors, Shark Dash does lack in several places such as hard to play by rules.
