Age of Wind 3 Cheats & Hack for Gold and Trophies

Age of Wind 3 is a mobile game available for both smartphones and tablets on iOS and Android. Since its release, in May 2015, by one of Google’s top developers, Deemedya, it has achieved over one million downloads on Android alone. Age of Wind 3 is the third installment in the Age of Wind series and has had a lot of popularity recently, with google adding it as an ‘Editors Choice.’ The game is known as a ‘freemium’ app, meaning it is entirely free to download but will feature some in app purchases – these cost the user their real currency in order to purchase. There are also full screen advertisements which appear from time to time, and the user must complete an in app purchase to remove these advertisements.

Users of Age of Wind 3 play as a character, known as Orlando, who works for Captain White Jack, on Jack’s ship. Within the game, users are able to play battles against enemies, or even battle on multiplayer with their Facebook friends – as long as their friend has the app installed too. If the user would rather not play against facebook friends, then they are also able to play against a random opponent, too. If the user gets bored of battling, they also have the option to visit a tavern and play one of two tavern games. The first of the two games is dice games, where the user and their opponent roll the dice in order to win (or lose) a sum of money. The second is a knife game, where the user and their opponent must throw a knife down between their fingers without hitting it, in order to win (or again, lose) a sum of money. These are risky gambles with around a fifty percent chance of winning, so maybe this isn’t a great idea for new users who have just started out in the game. There are well over thirty five ports which the user is able to explore and discover while they progress through the game. Maps look familiar, with countries like Royal Cuba and Jamaica near the starting area. There are also achievements which the user can unlock, which is a great incentive to continue playing. The users of Age of Wind 3 are also able to upgrade and customise their battle ship to increase their chances of winning battles against enemies, as well as in multiplayer.

Getting started is extremely easy and straightforward. There is a small cutscene which introduces the user to the game – this is between Orlando and Captain White Jack. Jack explains to the user, Orlando, how to navigate the vessel and how to work the cannons. After Jack has taught the user, Orlando, how to play, then the user is able to carry on and start playing the game. There are usually small dialogue boxes towards the top of the screen which instructs the user on what to do next, if they really do need some help, although gameplay can be decided by the user and they can play at their own pace – they can do whatever task they want, whenever they want to do it.

Age of Wind 3 Review

The game isn’t really much of an immersive experience. I didn’t find myself feeling any more than as if I was simply tapping a screen to waste some of my time. Absolutely – it was fun, but it didn’t seem as if I was actually a pirate commanding and driving a battleship to defend myself and crewmates from other pirates. The game just didn’t give me the usual immersive feeling and experience that I get from most adventure games. I feel that if a lot more was going on, perhaps more types of ships in battles, then it could certainly become more immersive. Because of how easy the game is, especially in the lower levels, I don’t really find myself become a part of the game – more so just a user of a smartphone game.

I think that the user interfaces within Age of Wind 3 have been designed very well. The buttons were of a perfect size, and none of them were too big, whilst none of them were too small. There is nothing worse than menus, buttons, and interfaces being cramped and crowded into one small smart device screen, and the developers of Age of Wind 3 have done a fantastic job of having things laid out perfectly. The animations of things such as moving buttons were amazingly well done, and it didn’t make them look odd or out of place. Everything within the user interface menus look like they are actually part of the game, and not just some quick tacky job done after the game was made – they don’t look out of place at all. Everything in this department has been done really well and I have had no issues with it whatsoever.

I am very please with the artwork for Age of Wind 3. It suits the style of the game very well – I don’t have an issue with any of the designs at all, and nothing looks odd or out of place. The designs take on a cartoon-esque style, but it isn’t overly childish and doesn’t look like something out of a nursery rhymes book. That is because every piece of artwork in the game has just the right amount of detail added on top – there isn’t anything which looks too simplistic, while simultaneously there isn’t anything that looks overly detailed. Nothing looks too realistic, either, which is good because I do not think that it would suit the style of the game. Adventure games for mobile are great when the graphics are a little more basic, and I have never seen anything quite as good as what the developers of Age of Wind 3 have done. The artwork makes the game appeal to many age ranges, and I feel that it can be enjoyed and appreciated by youngsters, teenagers, adults and even the elderly alike. It is certainly one of my favorite features of the game and I think that they have done a fantastic job in this department. I would like to stress that I have never seen anything more suitable for this style of game (adventure games), even from those of the likes of Nintendo and Sega. The artwork really stood out to me here.

However, here’s one of the big flaws. I hate how there are full screen advertisements that are continually popping up, especially if I close the app to check something and then reopen it. They appear far too often and it takes away from what could be an amazing game. I personally would not want to be paying to remove advertisements from an app after paying hundreds of dollars on a new smartphone – and I am most certainly sure that I am not the only one that feels this way! Smaller banner advertisements would be much more suitable, still with the option to dismiss them. Or, it could be a suitable idea to stop the frequency of the pop-up advertisements. Either that, or remove them completely – that would be the best idea from most users point of views. Also, every time I close an advertisement I am taken to the menu to purchase more ingame currency. This is very awful – it’s like having two super annoying advertisements in a row – at least let me just continue in my gameplay after closing it! This department really needs to be worked on to make it still be an appealing game in the long-run. I feel that if these advertisements don’t go away, then I won’t be playing for more than just a couple weeks.

AppGameCheats Age of Wind 3 Ratings

Artwork: This is a strong point, and I can definitely give Age of Wind 3 a solid 10/10 for their artwork. It suits the style of the game perfectly and I have had no issues with it whatsoever. It is appealing to a whole load of different age ranges, and I think that it really adds to the game. I think that artwork is one of the most important parts of a game for mobile, as most people do slack on it, and I think the developers of Age of Wind 3 have mastered it – perfectly. I have no suggestions or recommendations for this department, because I genuinely think it is perfect – there are no changes needed.

Music & SFX: This is another strong point, and I give Age of Wind 3 an 8/10 for their music and sound effects. The music is fantastic, and fits in very well with the game. It’s very mild, but still adds to the atmosphere of the game and it most certainly adds suspense to battles. I like how it is not too repetitive, and it doesn’t seem out of place at all. The sound effects are also very good – but far too repetitive. If I fire my cannon ten times in a battle, it does not mean I want to hear the same sound effect ten times in a row. If I accidently hit my fingers four times in the knife game, I don’t want to hear the same sound effect just repeated over and over again. Although the sound effects are great, there does need to be a lot more of them and they need to be more varied and spread out.

Story & Originality: This is another strong point, and I give Age of Wind 3 an 9/10 for their story and originality. The reason for this is; despite the hundreds and possibly thousands of pirate games out there, there isn’t one that I’ve come across that is similar to this one. The way the battles work are great – in most cases the user would have to accelerate and decelerate – in Age of Wind 3 this is done for you, so it is a very original approach of doing things. As well as this, the way users are able to take on tasks at their own place is quite simply amazing. I think this is fantastic, and it’s certainly very unique. If a user wants a break, they don’t have to stop playing – unlike other apps, they can visit the store or take a trip to the tavern for some betting. Everything has been very well thought out, whilst still being unique with nothing copied from other games. The only reason I can’t give the full ten is because there has been other games based around pirates, so for this reason it is not one hundred percent original.

General Gameplay: I can only give Age of Wind a 5/10 for the general gameplay aspect of things. The game is very fun, especially because of its uniqueness. I enjoy playing it and I think that everything has been worked out perfectly. However, advertisements are far too frequent, far too disturbing, far too distracting and far too annoying. If there was zero advertisements, I would be able to give Age of Wind a solid ten for the general gameplay – because of advertisements, I just can’t.

Addictiveness: This is another strong point for Age of Wind 3, and I give it an 8/10 for addictiveness. To know that I can only be earning gold, and unlocking items, if I am playing the game – then I am going to play the game. After I think about earning the gold, I then begin playing and find myself in a loop of continuous gameplay for long periods of times – even if I just planned on playing for a few minutes. I think this is due to the music fitting in perfectly with the artwork and making me want to stay so that I can fully appreciate everything. Age of Wind 3 is certainly addictive, but I cannot give the full ten because the advertisements put me off and just make me want to stop playing – they’re extremely aggravating.

Overall, I give Age of Wind 3 an 8/10.
