After the tutorial finishes, the game becomes straightforward, but still entertaining to play because of the fact that there are different characters to play as and different power-ups to discover. The graphics in Inside Out Thought Bubbles are cartoonish and colorful, something you would really expect from a Disney game.

I think it is a nice thing when free-to-play games do not have any advertisements. It is very understandable when developers decide to implement ads in their games, but they should always be careful and make sure they do not obstruct or annoy the players. Unfortunately, many developers mess up and manage to really position the advertisements in a very obstructive way. Thankfully there are no ads in Inside Out Thought Bubbles, which means that you will not be annoyed or obstructed in any way.

Unfortunately, there are also a few negative aspects about Inside Out Thought Bubbles. For starters, players only get a limited amount of play time. Disney is well known for all of its fantastic animations, and Inside Out Thought Bubbles was not an expectation of this. I can tell right from the start that the developers spend a lot of time designing the levels but also the characters, power-ups and even the bubble animations themselves. The game feels really lively because of the fact that the characters have idle animations. For instance, if you shoot at bubbles and hit them perfectly, your character will show happiness, but if you miss or shoot your bubbles towards the wrong colored bubbles, your character will be surprised and sad.

Music & SFX: I give Inside Out Thought Bubbles an 8/10 for its music and SFX. I like the fact that there are different soundtracks in the main menu and during the gameplay. This makes the game more entertaining because players will be less prone to get bored. The main menu soundtrack has a nice jingly rhythm to it while the soundtrack during levels is exciting and makes you want to focus and aim your bubbles correctly. There are a ton of sound effects implemented in Inside Out Thought Bubbles as well. I like the fact that the characters encourage you by speaking to you. That on itself is a feedback because of the fact that when you shoot at bubbles correctly, your character will speak positively, while if you shoot incorrectly, your character will make a sad remark. Both the soundtracks and sound effects fit each other perfectly and the developers did a good job on them.

Story & Originality: I give Inside Out Thought Bubbles a 7/10 for its story and originality. The game on itself is not very original at all. Bubble shooters have been around for quite a long time. I remember playing similar games on one of those flash websites a few years back. That doesn’t take away that Disney did a splendid job at developing Inside Out Thought Bubbles. I like the fact that the game has a story. It is based off of the animation movie Inside Out, which is also a Disney creation.

General Gameplay: I give Inside Out Thought Bubbles an 8/10 for general gameplay. Because of the fact that I played similar games before, the gameplay of Inside Out Thought Bubbles did not come to me as a surprise at all. There is a nice tutorial implemented into the game which shows you the ropes of the game after which you are on your own. The characters will help you throughout your gameplay, which is also a nice thing. The controls are very smooth and nicely designed, User interface is clear and everything works perfectly.

Addictiveness: I give Inside Out Thought Bubbles a 7/10 for addictiveness. Inside Out Thought Bubbles is a very entertaining and fun game to play. It also features a lot of levels and has different playable characters and power-ups. The only real downside to the game is the fact that the developers implemented lives into the game. This means that you only can fail a few times before you need to wait for a long time to be able to play again. I believe that players should never have limited play time, because this can really turn people off from the game.

All things considered, I give Inside Out Thought Bubbles an 8/10.
